Tonight we are heading out to Texas. It's been a whirlwind of a week, emotionally and physically.

For me personally, this is my opportunity to get closer to the man I love, and considering that we will be driving the route to Texas, im sure my aim will more than improve over the miles to follow!

In all seriousness, from a prior experience I was almost dreading this trip. The last one I took did not end in total bliss, however, now that the time has officially arrived, I am soooooooooo looking forward to this. I feel like im cleansing myself of the past and moving forward to a new and better future.

ooooooooooooohhhh, shiver shiver, shake shake...it's the goosebumps all over again....

Boy!! I like that cute little driver smiley! Haha!! First time seeing it!! I'll have to use him in one of my posts soon! Like right now, to drive home a point.

Well our two week trip was a success, tiring, extremely tiring, but a success. Despite all the traveling through 4 states , we definitely fell in love with San Marcos,Tx.
We spent time with family in both Arizona and Texas, and spent the rest of the time vacationing at Carlsbad Caverns, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Las Vegas.
As for the beautiful scale, Grand Canyon hands down, that is an awesome site, those National Geographic pic's do it no justice to seeing it up close and personal, awesome site.
On our all around fun scale, Williams,AZ and Las Vegas. Williams was great time for fishing, swimming and just vege-ing out with the kids. Las Vegas, after 15yrs of going for adult entertainment, 1st time with the kids was a blast, spent 1 full day in the Adventuredome of Circus Circus...too much too do, so little time.

Las Vegas is much better than the Hoover Dam anyway!! I went there with some friends and was going to take the Hard Hat Tour.

Found out that it was friggen closed due to 09-11! We then drove back to Las Vegas and had a much better time, since we were vacationing there anyway!!

We took leisurely drives to places like Bonnie Springs, stopped at Red Rock Canyon on the way back and had a much, much better time!!!

While we were given the opportunity to go over the Hoover Dam, there were signs everywhere advising the chance could be cancelled at anytime. Surprisingly, we all didn't get 'goosebumps' over it, it was 113 when we got there, and couldn't get out soon enough.
Thank goodness for air conditioning!

There's really nothing else that i want to see at Hoover Damn.

They took all the fun out of going there when they friggen killed the Hard Hat Tour!!
