Did 24 Jump the shark?

I think 24 jumped the shark this season. (jumping the shark)

Word has it that next season will be a completely different concept....

What do you think?

I think 24 was dead to me after season one. Such a good concept so thrilling and entertaining - boiled down to a foetid stew of formulated entertainment like Lost and Prison Break.

edit: I just read about what you mean by jumping the shark and yes, yes it has.

season 1->assassination+kidnappings
season 2->atomic bomb
season 3->virus+drugs
season 4->kidnappings+assassination+nuclear power plant meltdowns+assasination+nuclear missile
season 5->assasinations+nerve gas
season 6->atomic bomb+potential war+love stories

I would say, it "jumped the shark" progressively, altough season 6 is truly remarkable for its massive use of useless subplots and love stories and also the MAGNIFICIENT TOYOTA ADVERTISMENT!!!

Did anyone here watch the early episodes of Prison Break? It started out really good; the double-episode of the riots was fantastic, and then a couple of episodes later it just sort of lost it and - simultaneously - the plot became absolute mince, a completely ridiculous mix of conspiracies, secrets and violence... i turned the tv off in disgust.

I just got up the nerve to watch the final. Man, disappointed was I.

I really really really hope this season was intentionally bad.

The CTU characters don't seem that interesting anymore. Besides Buchanon and Chloey...the first couple of seasons were more interesting.
