Default Heroes Season 2

Welp, I just finished watching the season premiere of Heroes, and aside from a string of very annoying Nissan commercials, I was completely enthralled.

I thought they would have a hard time topping their first season, most series usually do, but I was hooked almost from the very beginning.

I'm loving Hiro's storyline thus far, as I'm a big fan of Japanese history and mythology. Claire's storyline is quite exciting as well.

And the end.

Well, the end was great.. I'm not going to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet!

What did everyone else think?

I've heard of this series, but I don't know what its about. I can't bear to watch television with all the commercials so I wait until I can rent them. I'm watching the second season of Rome right now.

We loved the first season and can't wait to see the second season, which I believe may have just aired in the US.

I didn't watch the first season with any ads

But .. Rome was on HBO which doesn't have commercials!

Anway, I have a HTPC, so I can skip commercials.

The other advantage of DVDs is not having to plan my life around watching TV - another advantage of Tivo too of course. I don't get HBO. Also, if I want, I can shoot the wad and watch the whole damn series as fast as I can run back and forth the Blockbuster. I watched an entire season of 24 that way one weekend.

I did too. I did the same with CSI and Alias. It's much nicer when you don't have to wait a week between episodes.
