| Discussion starter | I think that in the forum's description the word "books" should be added. They are entertainment, aren't they? What is the best science fiction book you have ever read? I personally love "The city and the stars" from A. Clarke. "Rendevouz with Rama" is also a nice one. But "The city and the stars" definitely made me dream of the future. |

| I agree - tough question. There have been so many. The ones that stand out are: William's Gibson's "Neuromancer" trilogy (which consists of Neuromancer, Count Zero & Mona Lisa Overdrive). Asimov: The Foundation Trilogy Douglas Adams: Hitch Hikers' Guide to the Galaxy trilogy (in 5 parts). John Wyndham: The Crysalids |

| Eligible for a custom title | I'll put in another vote for Stranger, although Number of the Beast is a close second. There are numerous other books I really like by many authors, but I'm sure there's some sort of post limit. |
