Paris Hilton asked her fans to sign a petition urging California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon her because she provides "beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives" and is "notable for her leading roles on the Fox reality series The Simple Life and in the remake of the Vincent Price horror classic House Of Wax."

Tax dollars pay for the administration of this fine country, policing of the population, facilities and programs like crime deterrence. Tax dollars built city hall offices, jails, prisons, etc. It is the duty of every citizen to support this good work, and to use the facilities and programs available in order to attain their full tax dollar benefit. Paris Hilton should be happy and proud to make use of that jail cell which she helped to build and maintain.
She's such a good citizen!

i agree wholeheartedly. people in her position need to see the downside of life to fully appreciate just what she's got.

She is suppose to serve 45 days in jail for a few various things like driving without a license etc..

She had her license suspended for DUI and then went ahead and drove anyways about 30 days later.

I personally think it would be hilarious if they put her in the general population of the pen. But, since they have to keep everyone safe, poor Paris will be missing out on the joys of needlework therapy with murderers. And you know some woman in there would want to cuddle up with her at night. I can almost see a new tape coming out of that one!

And the Governator is not going to waste his time on issueing a pardon on such a stupid matter as Paris Hilton caught driving without a proper legal license.

Yay - I read that she's going to jail and Arnold's people basically said she'd have to go through the same petition process the other crazies, innocents and serial killers have to go through.

She won't learn her lesson, although she really really should after a stint in jail...I hope she doesn't get any special treatment at all and is treated like any other number. I could actually think of stomaching more than 5 seconds of 'The Simple Life - County Jail'

I signed the petition, because hopefully it will take her whining and stupidity off my tv for a while.

you can solve that problem easily.....throw a hammer at the tv. I don;t watch tv. No cable, and am thinking of selling my tv anyways.
