Yeah, Kaká was... well, I didn't want him to score, I reeeeally wanted a draw or for Croatia to win. And I don't think it would have been a less than impressive draw, the Croatians did very well considering who they were up against. Their defense and their goal keeper were great. I just wish they'd taken advantage of their opportunities to score a little better. And as much as I hate the Brazilian team... Kaká is so DAMN CUTE! I was happy for him =)

And for the France v. Switzerland game, I was rooting for Switzerland, wondering when they would score, not France =P

yeah... what i mean by less than impresive is that the brazilians have won 5 titles, and 7 straight matches comming into that game that to not win that game it would have been a disapoitment to them..
but i agree... the croatians did a very good job! their defence was great.. it's a shame they didn't complete the looks that they had

between france and switzerland i had no favorite, i just thought france would score because henry and zidane... but that was the problem.. they relied on them a lil bit too much
and switzerland had like 2 close oportunities... i think the clearer ones out of the two teams.. especially that header (don't know if you know the one i'm talking about hehe!) it was a bummer to see it miss the goal...

YES! That header was INSANE! Two of the team members from Switzerland and one of the French team went falling into the net! Awesome!

Well, there's nothing hotter than a soccer player. That sport whips guys into amazing shape, and somehow a lot of these great players are very cute to begin with.

Anyone watch Spain this morning? I had a morning class, so I missed it, but it looks like they slaughtered Ukraine. I mean, taking a 4-0 shutout? I wish I saw the game.

HOLY CRAP! Saudi Arabia just scored a BEAUTIFUL goal! Good for them!

i saw it i like to sleep a lot and today i made an exeption and woke up early just to see them play! they played really well.. i was really impressed. They played really intense and never gave Ukraine a chance to get into the game. They were going at them really fast. I think Spain is a bit underated.
and another Plus... saw a couple of players there too.. if you know what i mean

first the guy comes off the bench for Saudi Arabia and scores the goal to give them the lead..
then in stoppage time Tunisia scores to tie it!!
it was REALLY great!

Germany vs. Poland is a pretty good matchup.. you see the stands people are going nuts... i mean, that's the loudest game i've seen so far! and that's a lot !!! i think both countries are taking it pretty personal...
