I'm looking at this and when I find out which teams Germany might play after they kick Sweden's ass, I will set up alerts accordingly.

I want to know who might be up against my team!

Yes, the brackets were the important part. The Fifa web site didn't show them very well, and I couldn't visualize the final 16...

When tomorrow's games are over, I'm going to mobile alert one of the teams playing to go against Germany when they win over Sweden. That sounds kind of confusing, so here's a better explaination:

I'm assuming Germany will win again. Then they have to play one of the question teams, so I'll choose one (lets say, the one in red) and mobile alert that one, so when their game ends on the 24th, I will know who plays Germany in that little bracket game on the right (quarter finals).

Then when that's done, I'll see who else I have to mobile alert for the semi finals and finals.

Hehehe, that doesn't make it any more clear! It makes it more confusing! I'm too obsessive with this.

I just got back from school. Practiqué español en el coche. Mi pronunciación era perfecto, pero mi español era muy terrible =(

I know! I'm excited and freaked out. I mean, one bad game and teams are gone. There are butterflies in my stomach, but... I love it. I LOVE IT!

Yeah. My best friend was pretty surprised with me. I've known her for six years, but I was in Europe for the 2002 World Cup, so she's never seen me during the games. Since I don't follow any other sports, it seemed very random to her that I would be consumed by the Cup.

Yeah! I had considered starting a World Cup thread, but no one ever posts in the threads I start. In fact, quite often as soon as I post, a thread goes dead =P

Tomorrow is:

Iran v. Angola
Portugal v. Mexico
Côte d'Ivoire v. Serbia and Montenegro
Netherlands v. Argentina

You know, I tuned into Argentina v. Netherlands at halftime, and the announcers are right. The audience is more active than the teams! They seem so slow, like they don't care. It's a 0-0 game with slow players and no action. Very, very disappointing.

The man who runs the local Flag Store (I bought my German flags!!) said he thought Argentina v. Netherlands would be a good game to watch. I guess he was wrong =(

It's funny. Argentia and Netherlands are battling to see who takes First Place in their group, and they've had an unexciting, dull and casual game.

But Côte d'Ivoire v. Serbia and Montenegro, who have NO CHANCE of advancing to Stage two, have been playing well and really fighting for the win. It's 2-2 =)

yeaps i'm watching it right now and it's really not been a good game...
very little oportunities have been formed....

Hahahaha, I changed gamed and got confused for a second because Côte d'Ivoire and the Netherlands are both in orange uniforms!
