Default NHL hockey

The playoffs are here and now the world will discover the great Ottawa Senators and in Canada the fans will finally see that not all Canadian hockey team are as hopelessly bad as the Toronto Maple leafs lol

I was a Devils fan for 17 years (from the days of Stephane Richer, Peter Statsny, Sean Burke, Slava Fetisov!!), but have abandoned the organization after this year. I was really angry at Lou's firing of Julien as head coach. Julien guided the team to the top of the Atlantic Division and nearly the Eastern Conference. The team did falter but what do you expect when Elias, Gionta and others are injured? You take away the offensive weapons and obviously you are going to struggle. Julien's firing was an insult as far as I am concerned. I think I will be rooting for the Islanders from now on. lol.

I would fire Lou but thats what you get when the fans don't know their hockey to bad but good for the Sens if Julien was still there it would have been harder to beat the devils

No Sabres or Ducks, eh?

Wings fan here, though I am not sure they have enough strength on the blue line left to get it done.
In case it wasn't apparent, sarcasm is yet another free service I offer.

Somewhat limited poll - no choice for the Ducks? they may have lost the battle (Game 1) but they look to me to be winning the war....

It's OK though, I think Ottawa is for real this time, and should go all the way. After all, the Leafs aren't in there to stop them, so now they know what winning in the playoffs feels like

Multi fan: Stars, Leafs, Wings.
Hockey starved in a place that hears "hockey" and thinks either "those cute disney movies" or "tonsil hockey."
/me sighs and wishes she actually got more than two channels to watch the games.

What are you talking about - this year they WERE an AHL team!
(apart from Sundin, Antropov Poni, and Tucker)

I tried to keep cheering for the Flames - but it looked to me like a 'won't play for this coach' year....
