| Funny how one never sees women playing "American" football..... |
| In case it wasn't apparent, sarcasm is yet another free service I offer. Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay -- and claims a halo for his dishonesty.---- Robert A. Heinlein | |

| Big Tottenham supporter here (Also FCBarcelona as I live here), by the way... football is NOT soccer, it's British and it's football. As for American football, the British guys don't need to cover themselves in plastic and crash helmets to play Rugby, which is what US Football is a poor excuse for. Get those US players (unpadded, no helmet) up against Jonah Lomu (NZ). Rugby sorts the men out from the boys, Football is the most popular sport on the planet. By the way,US Baseball, in Engalnd it's called rounders, and it's a little girls game. Last edited by RichBarna : 05-15-2007 at 09:12 AM. |

| Drank to much Mountain Dew | My favorite team is the Danish National Team. To all you germans out there: 2-0 forever, yeah! Deutschland, Deutschland alles ist vorbei, alles ist vorbei, alles ist vorbei! ![]() (I did cheer for you at the last WM though...too bad you didn't make the finals. I was all ready and packed up for a trip to Berlin. But you had to trip at the semi-finals...sigh) Last edited by lakersforce : 05-14-2007 at 06:30 PM. |

| Great Football fan here! I used to cheer for Manchester United( like 1,2 years ago), but apparently they haven't been as good as they were... Maybe it's time to change my favorite team to Chelsea or Arsenal? :P Anyway, the last time I watched a REAL cup(i.e. not missing one match) is the European Cup where Greece won the Cup. Man, that was a blast! And, for the Americans out there: Football > American Football (just joking, nobody take it seriously)Extreme Coder |

| Manchester United actually just won the Premiership, so they are good. :P They are in the FA Cup finals vs Chelsea too. Could be a double. And they also made it to the semis of the Champions League. Go Tottenham! |

| Interested participant | go Arsenal :-). haha, American "football" is rediculious. a bunch of guys wear pad, and run into each other, and jump on one another...and that's manly. speaking as an American High school student, I cant stand it. bunch of pricks if you ask me. |

| Glory Supporter extraordinaire here (since I was about 9 so there's some excuse). So LiverpoolFC for me, going for a Champions League Double, although I have to say sometimes this year we have played some shocking football . . . Best Games as an England Supporter: England 3-1 Holland (Euro '96) Germany 1-5 England (Sventastic!!) Best Games as a Liverpool Fan Champions League Final of 2005, can you really beat that?? Liverpool 4-3 Newcastle United - two years in a row in the mid 90's - amazing Listened to the Grobbelaar goal line shuffle against Roma in the early eighties on the radio, ahh sweet memories. As a true glory supporter I have never even been to Anfield, so all my watching is done on the tube! |

The CL final of 2005 was unbelievable. It's probably gonna be an interesting game this year, too.

| Eligible for a custom title | I don't get to watch games much. Just whatever w. cup games one of my two channels decides to put on. I have dial up so flash and graphic intensive sites are pretty much out. I end up reading about the games usually. I always cheer (and drink and get rowdy in general) for England games. And because of a friend and considering moving there, this is who I read about and quietly cheer on (they need it lately ) : B&HFC |

Quick thoughts: Deutschland wird am besten in Fußball wieder werden. And what's this about soccer being a woman's sport? Only Americans, who think that 2-4 seconds of action for each 1.5 minutes is a sport, would only say that. There are times I wish I was not from this country...
