Default No cure for the ailing!

Well, as far as some cures over others unless you are among the wealthy or the social elite the chances of a cure or that of a ( buy more life ) is limited. Granted for those who have made their way in the world and are blessed monetarily wise, well then all the power. The truth is they can buy more time with physicians, most of the rest of us struggle with money or the lack there of with insurance covering the bill and the left overs burning a hole out of our pockets, mercy to those without ins. Ok here is my point...sorry I digress...but... I dont think any cure to soon is coming for diabetes and or high blood pressure...both I am afflicted with. They wont come up with a cure for that to soon nor the common cold, why? the pharmaceutical industry would lose boo koos of money and doctors may be out of a job, < well thats stretching it a bit but one knows where I am going with this.

Really I like to beleive they would give us the cure to Cancer and other high risk diseases but why? how can a hungry starved industry allow such loss? I am sure things are going on in places we cant even imagine as far as experimentation, atrocities un-fathomable, its not just in the movies...its hidden, much of it is hidden.

I see where you are coming from. The world is a harsh place, centered on money. However, I don't think extended life is a good thing. This world is not heaven, therefore, i don't want to live an eternity here... Life is full of suffering, politics are now, "choose the lesser of two evils." Surely, you can see this world is not a good place... I think, when it is our time to die, it is our time to die.

Yes I do agree with you, however, if I do stand a chance at life once again and they are standing over me with my family saying,...who wants to pull the plug, I hope wisdom would serve as rest restitution on my behalf from one of my loved ones knowing somewhere in the depths of their hearts that I may indeed still have time left. Its getting to easy now to just say...the meter is now expired...but then is the insurance up? see...been there done that...if your not up and moving along by the time the hospitals exhaust your insurance these days, they offer the alternative, a home, or un-plug...thats as far as hospitals go...until the insurance is up...I dont think it was like this years ago. They were merciful and caring, now its about the almighy dollar and whats left to offer of it.
Granted, life goes on...understandable, and again this is only if I actually appear to be able to kick back in...otherwise, yes the inevitable. Heaven sounds great to me...
