I think the "ufo's" are justa couple of blokes walking around, but they have edited the video and it has been sped up.

If we are going to consider aliens as a possible cause, there are really an infinite number of equally supported possible explanations:

fungi
plant rot
quantum weirdness
leprechauns
jesus
cats with lasers
government testing
bad seeds
sentient plant life
computer glitch
...

Cats with lasers! That could be an absolutely brilliant theory. As neat as it could be to put together, however, I think it is far more likely that crop circles are made by "a bloke with a piece of string."

I think it's the "bloke with a string" theory. First off, there's a website (¤ c i r c l e m a k e r s ¤) dedicated to crop circle making enthusiasts, so we know that at least *some* are made by people. Secondly, even the website that Voice linked to admits that there were no circles reported this year in Canada or the entire southern hemisphere, and only 6 in the US (INTERNATIONAL CROP CIRCLES OF 2007). If it really were caused by aliens, do you think that they would avoid countries that are dominated by farmland? Canada's got a bunch of fields that are just begging to be turned into circles, but it doesn't happen.
