Indeed
That was actually quite a bit of work between an artist and a paleontologist.

I wonder where the digestive system is that can handle all those high-fibre cherries and ghosts?

Pacman must have had a very compressed digestive track, and anus on the bottom of his head ...

I wonder if the ghosts had a skull, or if they were made more like a jellyfish

But in the 80's screen resolution was pretty low ... it would be hard to tell with the scan lines

I guess it is, since apparently at that time Pacman didn't have eyes :P
Did pacmans at that time have the ability to gobble all those dinosaurs?

Really though, what's the skull actually from?

I know some people like that.....

It's from an artist (the link is in first post). He worked with a scientist to come up with it. It was actually for sale in some art gallery. Here is the description of this sculpture:
Quote:
8 editions, diameter : 65 cm, resin.
Second version of Pac-man’s skeleton, conceived in collaboration with François Escuilié, palaeontologist, from the comparative
observation of human and various predatory animal skulls. His studio’s team, “Eldonia”, specialized in casting fossils, made the edition.
He's actually done some other work along these lines

Quote:
50 x 300 x 200 cm / plastic, thermo fuse glue.
Replica of a life-size triceratops made of plastic bones “made in China”. Realized in situ at the Guangdong Museum of Art in Guangzhou, China, for the exhibition "SingulierS", organized by the MOCA of Lyon.

OMG, They killed Pac-Man! Those bastards!

NOES!!! Pac-Man iz not ded!

Pac-Man will forever live on in my Atari in the other room (yes, I still have a working one). Anyway, I don't think the ghosts provided much in the way of fiber, so I don't think there were any feces to be left from them. Cherry pits however...

Ok, so bapoumba gets the Inaugural Social Forum Award for Polite Understatement.

That site looks like the outcome of a collaboration between my dog and a blind arts major (with my dog doing the coding).

I personally have a bit of a problem with the teeth. I don't remember PacMan having any teeth.

Well, as stated before, the resolution was a bit low to really tell.

I guess I would have to agree that the resolution was a bit low, and it does seem unlikely that he would gum all that fruit. Although since the fruit would probably be soft, just like the ghosts it isn't impossible.
