| Interesting, so by statement in the link, if I live in a Predominantly muslim country and I decide to toss the Q'uran onto a fire for some kindling, Im probably not going to get looked on with favorable eyes. Restriction of Freedoms, the first thing behind any revolution. |

| under construction | How stupid of me to miss that it was sarcasm ![]() I think that might very well be the common concept about how governments should be, and even how "moderate Islam" there sees it. (Not sure how moderate Islam sees it in Europe though) They would keep it an open secret as much as possible, though. While i can see how this can lead to tensions, i do think it is a huge threat at this point. Certainly not worth nuking countries like Iran over. Only the radical side is potentially dangerous, so we must try get them "moderate". Waging war with them is not the way. We can only hope that their society will change to allow for them to appreciate freedoms. They probably see that as Islam becoming weak or something like that, though. (Then again, i do find how people believe Christianity a bit mushy) |

Regardless, i do not trust religions that feel that they need to spread. Especially one that wants it so hard as Islam does. | |

| I guess you can dance around discussing the fine details, but frankly, I fail to see any rights that are inherently held by any non-Muslims in an Islamic state. It's their way, or the highway. Anyone have a map? Here's a thought... Quote:

| Hehe, Australia doesnt even have a Bill of Rights and we've still kept just as many as any other Western Nation ![]() The only explicit right in our constitution is freedom of religion. Though theres a few other implicit ones that have been ruled upon. |
