| I'm one too. We have a group/coven/clan. It follows a pre-celtic format from an ancestral source. No big deal - we all roughly equate to the same pattern though we have different names and stuff. |

| Ilya, magic is just another form of code you might use to define a particular set of circumstances to set something in motion. It's not instant like in Harry Potter. Nothing works like that unless we are talking about Ubuntu! I worship (though 'respect' is a better word to use) entities which can be equated to nodes of power like electricity but are often seen as Gods/ Elementals /or Spirits in its more mundane outlook. To worship a tree is like saying "I Love you" cos you give me air to breathe and make it nice to sit under your branches and learn from how you live and try to apply it to my own life. Trees don't make wars. They don't try to destroy the planet like some other creatures I can name. They are in symbiosis with everything that lives here and the planet itself. ![]() Last edited by terabyte1 : 09-11-2007 at 05:41 PM. |

| Hello everyone! I was wondering what happened to this thread. It looks like not that much... |
|
Well, it seems that foreboding has fallen over the calm world that I call home. ZS forums and I are now best buds. (I think that zombies have less cred than nukes as a doomsday, but slightly more than aliens...)

| Just getting started | Nothing "awes" me more than science. The wonders of physics and biology are crazier than any sci-fi. Why do you need some supreme being or omnipotent force to make sense of the cosmos(Yes. I said cosmos)? And don't tell me I don't understand the Wiccan religion. My wife was wiccan, as was her mother. It is for children, as are all religions. |
