Thanks for the photo fuscia,

Thing is though, Frank and I already met and fooled around for a while. Sweet fellow. Problem was he could never bend down far enough to kiss me, and I'm just not that tall.

As far as personality goes, I like someone a little quirky. They have to love coffee and snuggling up just to watch TV or movies. Also, very importantly, they absolutely have to be a geek. I don't think someone that isn't geeky could put up with my gaming and computer habits. Being adventuous is important, I love trying new things and exploring new places.

And for looks... A lot of people like to say this isn't important, but I believe you can't be happy in a relationship with someone you aren't physically attracted to as well as in other ways. I've found that I like small guys, on the short side and skinny. I'm not attracted to muscles or overly masculine guys. I really like long hair, not really long though. More like what the emo kids tend to have.

As someone with a facial paralysis (Moebius Syndrome), I understand what you're saying with this, but beauty is also in the eye of the beholder. Blind people don't need to SEE beauty to be in love.

Beauty is in the heart.

I could go around making a big deal when people say "Smile..." around me because I can't smile. But I don't. It doesn't bother me. The "looks" issue bothers me. Not because I find fault in it, but the fact that the human brain judges someone within the first 3 seconds of meeting/seeing that person. I can't find any fault in your statement, because it's true.

I am only expressing frustration at it because it's probably the main reason why I'm still single LOL! Yes, personality has a lot to do with it, but when it comes right down to it, if you're not mostly attracted to someone, the relationship may never last. Unless you're blind, this is the case 100% of the time, IMHO.

- Dark or colored hair (my favorite color being blue or green). Although blonds are nice too sometimes.
- Short stature. (something 'round 1.70 meters is ideal)
- A cool dressing style, preferably something different/alternative.
- Cute personality.
- Nerdiness!
- Smart.

Asian girls fit my ideal very well.

Some notes about me concerning the points made above:
- Fairly dark brown hair. Not colored.
- Pretty average height, 1.86 meters.
- Usually wear jeans, a t-shirt and a short-sleeved shirt on top in summer time in summer/spring. Replace the shirt with a zipped sweater in winter/autumn. Always dark colors, usually black.
- Commonly called quiet, shy and occasionally cold.
- Nerdy!
- Highly intelligent.

I think I have heard the name Loreena McKennitt on "Thistle & Shamrock" so I am going to guess she is a singer of Celtic music.

Messhugah? No idea.

I find the face to be the most attrective, and after that I look at the chest. Also, I like a normal girl, not too skinny or too fat, just right, perfect.

1.70 meters is short? Man, now I feel short :P

I like guys that are intelligent, sarcastic, skeptical, and argumentative. I like people who make their own decisions in life and don't do things because "that's what you're supposed to do". I like people who are not afraid to make fun of me and not hurt when I make fun of them.

While personality makes the difference in the long run, physical attraction has to exist as well. I have never been attracted to someone overweight or shorter than me, and I find that smiles and posture have a lot to do with attractiveness.

Ya she's more celtic, folk music.

Meshuggah is metal, but in a class by themselves. They are known for very technical sounding stuff that boggles the mind when you think of it from a musician's standpoint and realize that playing guitar like that is amazing.

But back on topic....

If we're just talking appearance then I usually go for dark haired girls who look like they just left the convent... it must be the jew in me...

Otherwise, they have to have a great sense of humor and have a brain, i don't want to spend my life explaining everything and anything to someone.

Well, what turns me on? Red heads and small to medium sized breasts.

What do I look for in general? Nice smile, nice person, friendly, not horrible looking (but I can look past that if everything else is good), kind. I also kind of like long hair.

And as an example that none of it is set in stone, my girlfriend is blond with short hair, she is petite and does have smaller breasts. She has a nice smile, is a nice person, is usually friendly, she can be kind, but also very self centered.

I'm attracted to woman who knows that she is a woman. One who is strong; but knows where the boundaries are. She must not be affraid to allow a man to be man.

Now I'm not talking about slick dealing, tricksters posing as men. I'm talking about a man with high morals, intelligent and family oriented. A man like this, deserves a Godly woman to love. And fortunately I'm blessed with such a woman and we are celebrating our 18th year of marriage this month.

How tall are you?

By "something 'round 1.70 meters is ideal" I mean 1.60 to 1.70, not 1.70 to 1.80. And not even 1.60 is "short-short" imo. I really don't know why I said 1.70 actually, it's probably more like 1.60.
Hmm, I confused myself. Maybe length preference varies by the day?

(Footnote: It might sound like it here, but I really do not only care about length, and I really don't carry a measure tape around!)
