| A 16-year-old teen was caught on tape placing an 8-month-old baby on an air pillow, then bouncing onto it, launching and making the infant fly 3 feet from the pillow! The child could be heard screaming on the video. The video was viewed by a teaher at the teen's school. The teacher then notified the police who came to arrest the teen. The boy faces charges of cruelty to the child. If covicted, he faces up to five years in prison. The boy who filmed the rough play will not be charged. The baby is being examined at the hospital to see if he suffered any internal injuries. He could have brain damage or shaken baby syndrome. ![]() |

| Hey Ras.. I totally agree..I hope that boy doesnt get a slap on the hand for this..They just recently picked up a murderer on the lose..killing 8 people and two of them about 35 minutes from where I live..It was a horrible massacre of two innocent human beings visiting family from out of town. One wonders if corporal punishment applied in good measure would have maybe made this killer into a human being instead of a monster.. Have to discipline while young..or else..who knows what we are spawning for the future.. Sherri |

| The Chief of Polic is saying that he isn't a serial killer, that he's in a different category. To me, anyone who kills as many people as HE did in the short span of time that he did it, he's a serial killer! The incident with the teen is said to be on a YouTube video. As for the teen incident - I haven't heard about it other than here - but while I don't excuse the act at all, I think one needs to also look at the parents' role in it (both the parents of the teen and the baby - assuming the teen isn't the baby's parent that is). | |

| Stirrer Of Shit | People in my country have to get a license to clean someone else's fingernails. Any piece of shit can have a kid tho. |

| The concept of parenting licenses has crossed my mind before. Unfortunately its entirely impractical, not to mention it would offend greatly a lot of people who seem to think that breeding is their 'God-given-right' or some such thing. And of course there would be the big fat question of 'who decides the criteria for having a license'. |

| Stirrer Of Shit | I didn't advocate licensing parents, I only pointed out the fact that no one has to prove themselves fit to take on the responsibility. |

| Isn't 'having to prove yourself fit' to do something the same as having to be licensed to so it? I really don't see the difference. |
