| NBC NEWS, FOXBORO - A little boy who was supposed to be in school with the rest of his classmates, was left stranded on his school bus for at least 7 hours. Six-year-old Austin Reid was left all alone for an extremely long time with no bathroom to go to if he needed one, no one to go to for help and no food to eat except for a little snack he was carrying from home. The school that he attends is perplexed as to how this was allowed to happen. It says that there will be an investigation into the case. The boy is safe now back with his family. His mother had stated that she will remove him from that school and place him in a public one, and that she'll give him rides to and from school to keep this from ever happening again. The boy told reporters that he thought that he would never see his parents again. He also said that he was on the bus for far too long. The driver of the bus has just resigned. The boy is said to be a pure stickler for the rules, so he stayed in the same spot where he was sitting and didn't move at all. I'm so glad that that he was found alive & well!!! ![]() Last edited by Daquan13 : 03-31-2008 at 06:04 PM. |

| At least the boy had the presence of mind to stay put like he was taught to. But he DID begin to suspect that something was amiss when he was not let go from the bus to go to his class. |
