Here in England we are told that a muslim pilot was arrested by British police because the FBI (America) told us too because they said they had proof that he had trained the 9/11 pilots. The British held this man for 4 months while the FBI "tried" to find the evidence they supposedly already had. now he is proven inocent and has the right to claim millions compansation who do you think should pay compensation ? Who do you think will ?

The first I've heard of it and you didn't provide a source, so all I know is what you said, so with that in mind... sounds like the UK Government arrested him so they should pay compensation. When it comes down to it, it was they who took the USA government's word for it and arrested the guy. If the UK Gov't has an issue with the USA Govt's provision of bad intel, then that's a separate issue, and they should take it up with them (but of course they won't).

Live and learn. I would say that the FBI tarnished their rep. They stand a chance of not being believed next time. As for compensating the pilot, the UK police held him, so perhaps they should settle with him, and seek reimbursement from the U.S. They are getting ready to give away some money to everyone else.
