| Stirrer Of Shit | Who are you predicting will be the Republican nominee in the Iowa Caucus tonight? (Not who do you want to be the nominee.) This is a hard one, but I'm gonna have to go with Romney, by a little, as much as I'd like to see Huckabee get it. BTW, the last several presidential elections, who won Iowa also either won the election or their parties nomination. I think this year will be different for Republicans. Winning Iowa isn't going to mean as much. |

| I agree Romney seems to have it based on media coverage but wouldn't it be great to shake things up and see Ron Paul get it. Even if you don't think he should it would shake them all up big time. |

| No Idea on this one - the media in Australia is suggesting a 2 horse race (Romney and Huckabee). Neither seems like a presidential winner to me. So if this is an indicator of who will get the Republican nomination, I sense the Democrats have the election sewn up. Then again I may not have imagined hat Bush II ever could have won either. (Side note: I hate that term GOP) |

All pretty much a moot point. My big picture prediction is that Clinton will end up winning the election next year. Her presidency will be an utter disaster - the worst since Jimmy Carter. Congress will go back to the Republicans in 2010, and they'll turn around and disappoint in the same way they've betrayed us since the country handed them the legislature in '94. | |

| Stirrer Of Shit | With 2% reporting Huckabee has a strong lead at 33% followed by Mitt at 24% |

| Stirrer Of Shit | Huckabee won Iowa by a very comfortable margin. Looks like I know Democrats better than Republicans. To be honest, I haven't really been following the republican race because I never really cared which Repub won Iowa. Rudy is the one who stands the best chance at beating Clinton (who will win the Dem nomination) and he never had a chance in Iowa and never spent any real resources there. Huckabee is a good guy, he has the Fairtax as part of his platform, but he will lose heartily to Clinton or Obama in the presidential election as would Rommney. I don't get behind candidates I like as much as I get behind the ones that have the best chance of furthering my agenda the most. |
