| Security often gives people the sense of safety but I've wondered how effective it is. Of course it is their job to secure where ever they were hired but it seems all too often that they react after something has happened, not before. It just makes me wonder how effective tightening security "in busy public places" will be. |

Among other things, they could force the enemy to change or cancel their plans. It also puts people on the scene to contain anything that might happen. Or, it could just be a message to the islamicists that "we're on to you." | |

| My issue is a simple one, I'm just wondering how effective security forces "in busy public places" are. I wasn't complaining about them reacting after the fact, was just merely stating an observation. Those possibilities are true. I was just wondering. |
