Now wait just a dawg gown minute - I thought everyone who's ever been detained at gitmo was an innocent bystander yanked from their home in the middle of the night to amuse Dick Cheney and Dubya?

Huh? Has anyone really ever even hinted at the idea that all the Guantanamo prisoners are innocent?

Heaven's yes. Maybe you haven't - if not, stick a feather in your hat for intellectual integrity. Everytime I've seen gitmo discussed, there's always at least the insinuation that they were put there for no reason.

It's kind of hard to say Bush is a nasty ol' meanie for detaining captured terrorists from the battlefield. It has to be spun.
