| A 7-yeear-old boy who had Type 1 diabetes has taken his fight to the Senate of Congress and has asked for them to fund research for a cure. He must monitor his glucose lever periodically and his pancreas can't produce any insulin in his body. |

| under construction | Well that is not a sensible way for a society to determine its spending. Lobby groups are over-involved with their own problems. That said, he has every right to try. I also dont like sob-story-whining. |

| My heart goes out to him and I very strongly commend him for his courageous behavior and his fight against diabetes. He's very up front and outspoken. I hope that he gets somewhere with his campain. Can't knock him for trying! |
