|  Oprah Endorses Obama I saw on the news last night that Oprah has come out and endorsed a political candidate for the first time, throwing her weight behind Barack Obama. My feeling is this could play a pivotal role in the Presidential Campaign - not only in deciding the Democratic candidacy, but also the outcome of the election. Oprah is incredibly popular as a person and her views and endorsements on products carry huge weight. It remains to be seen whether the same will hold true on a political endorsement, but there has been a popular opinion I've heard from quite a few that if Oprah were to run for office herself, she would win - and I tend to believe it. I get the sense we'll now be looking at an Obama-Clinton combination - in the election, and probably in the Whitehouse. |
