The PBC could also allow people to have different opinions, but it maters little if their pronouncements are law. That's why there's a comparison.

You realize that the big government nanny state wackos have already managed to take considerable amount of power in the U.S. right? People of that ilk have already demonstrated they won't leave people alone.

For example, a bar owner where I live can't even decide to let people smoke on his own property. That same bar owner can't decide how many drinks he can serve a paying customer at a time.

That's not "leaving people alone." Telling someone they can't open their business on Sunday and telling them they can't allow people to smoke are both examples of infringing on rights.
