Default Australia's new Prime Minister signs Kyoto

Australia has finally put into place the necessary steps to formally ratify Kyoto leaving the United States isolated as the only developed country to reject ratifying the Kyoto Protocol.

Yes, I'm sure their token environmentalism will have a huge impact. Not so much.

If anyone was serious about protecting the enviroment, carbon would not be the focus of the conversation.
For just an instant, have a glimpse, a vision, of life through my eyes. It is a staggeringly joyous perspective, a view of how each person's choices can make their own life better. It is a vision of the possible, of how things can and should be.

Yes, agreed. I'm just getting carried away in enjoying a change of government here in Aus. It's nice to get your country back.

Congratulations on that, really. I hope it's a real change.

The stuff that goes into the environment along with the isnt exactly great either. And the Kyoto protocol isnt a empty promise either, no-one has used that argument to not ratify it.
I am not entirely sure about the greenhouse effect itself. It might well be a problem. (Is all that methanehydrate on the bottom of oceans safe?)

And yet America is the only developed nation in the world who hasn't ratified it.

*Tks tks*

And I am so glad we have Mr Rudd as our prime minister.

I could find out for you if you want. In my Chembridge class, we're going over the earth and greenhouse stuff [ex. gasses, effects, historical records, expeditionary findings, and other stuff.] so its not that hard.
As I step forward into my future, I see a bright light...it is the light of change. With each step I take, my journey is one step closer to finishing and...
*light dies out*
Um...we need another light on stage five.

I am a physics student, so i am at least part of the way to understanding how they get to conclusions about global whether. I probably can all ready roughly guess when ethane evaporating becomes a problem, but a rough guess probably doesnt work in climate systems.
Also scientist have been debating climate change for ages it can not really be that easy.
Anyway, i am not going to determine what classes you will follow .
