i wasnt hating islam, the article says Sudanese clerics have been declaring it part of a plot to denounce islam from the west and are trying to tell everyone that everything we do is because we hate islam, i was talking about the clerics the article mentioned not islam.

I was speaking in general. But yeah, really rich. Rather than denounce it, they say its a plot to make them look bad. That's almost better than violent riots in response to being called violent.

The latest on this is that they've had a large protest over there with people calling for her to be shot!! For naming a teddybear! Do they not understand the whole 'life is sacred' thing?

Oh, and by 'they' I mean 'the morons calling for her to be shot'.

This woman could have remained in the comfort of her own civilized country and done her job, but she wanted to help out less priveledged children, so she risks all and lives among these animals, and this is the thanks she gets.

Why don't black people stand up and denounce the hateful things that other black people do? Because they are individuals. Not a giant collective you can label as one thing.

Afaik she was teaching at a Christian school in Khartum a mainly by Muslims inhabited area.

she was teaching at a school for Christians AND muslims. the child who named the bear was a muslim if you read the story, and as far as im concerned people who want to shoot someone over letting their pupil name a bear, should be locked up in a padded cell and left their to starve.
