As his last act as President of the US, Bush Jr will launch a war with iran.

Clinton should be elected as She's the most competent one to fight it successfully.

Sounds too much like a conspiracy theory. What would he gain by starting it at the end of hist term? Why wouldn't he just try to make it happen as soon as he can get away with it, if that's what he wanted?

I won't be surprised if they're trying to start at least a limited military engagement. All the right drumbeats are happening on cue. Just don't see why they'd wait.

And why is Hillary the most competent one to fight the war? We wouldn't be electing Bill, and he wasn't exactly a wartime president. Didn't get Bin Laden either.

I'd also trust Biden's experience, perhaps Obama, because he's smart. Dodd is very experienced. Probably McCain would handle it well. Not so sure about the others.

A war with Iran is very likely to happen all the parts are in motion leading up to it. If it does come to this it honestly is not going to be pretty at all.

I'm sorry to say, but the US government seems to have a shitload of money and human lives to throw at this game. And it is a game, Bush once said that he would like to be remembered as a "war-president" and we most certainly will. He won't be remembered for any wise historical quotes, other that the stupid ones, witch he from time to time throws at the public and/or the press.

In this world there seems to be two rules. Small countries obeys what the bigger countries will have them to do, and the bigger countries gives a shit about what other countries requests.

Damn, sometimes i hate this do this do that game. France makes nuclear experiments with warheads, and people are outraged, but with no result. Iran never comes far enough to experiment, before they are threatened with war and extinction. India mekes experiments and people yell stop once again. South korea experiments, and the whole world almost declares war.

I wonder what would happen if a pissant country like Denmark began extensive nuclear experimentation, for the purpose of making warheads?

One thing's for sure, every country in the world in possession of nuclear warheads, would object.

And how long do you think it would take the average American, including our president, to find Denmark? I wouldn't delay your dinner to wait. You might starve. That should hint at how much we care about the needs and rights of the smaller countries that can't harm or help us very much.

More than that, individually we generally don't give a shit about anybody else. I guess most of us have friends and family that we care about, but beyond that everybody can do whatever they like as long as they don't mess with us. I'm not sure that's either bad or good, it just is and it won't change.

Well to be honest, Bush has been here a couple of times now, if not more. So i guess he'll know where to go, but the average american, hell, they think danish is something you eat.

I once were on a trip to France, they thought that Denmark was a German province so much for the european union.

Sorry to contribute to making the thread wander. But I thought I'd mention that Americans are even terrible with their own geography, e.g. ask people to find Denver on a map. How can we expect better results and attitudes toward small countries elsewhere?
