Default A sence of forboding. Do you have one?

Lately everyone in my town has had this feeling that something really big/bad is going to happen, and I mean EVERYONE! I wanted to know if anyone else had that strange crawling feeling in the pit of their stomach since the 26th?
Well, it seems that foreboding has fallen over the calm world that I call home. ZS forums and I are now best buds. (I think that zombies have less cred than nukes as a doomsday, but slightly more than aliens...)

Fortunately, at least in the short term, I think this is unlikely as you need troops to start a war and as far as I can see, almost all of America's troops are a little busy currently.

Unless of course they go all out and run the next one from home, which is of course possible using long range weapons. I wouldn't put it past the current regime.

I've been feeling like that for some time now. I can't understand what has happened to me. I have been so depressed for almost 4 months and it feels like I sill never come out of it. My counsler say I should take anti depressants, but I have never had to take drugs before and I'm deathly aftaid of them.

my mom has to take them too. Don't worry so much about them. If you don't feel any better after four weeks or you start sleeping more than you are know, ask to get your persctiption changed.

You guys are probably feeling like that because you're liberals. Seriously. Liberals think the world is coming to an end, that Bush is taking over the world, that all their rights were being taken away. If I pretended to believe half the crap liberals spout everyday I'd be depressed too.

Bush taking over the world? Seriously?

I guess I'm a liberal. But I'm not that political. I don't listen to what unstable people say. I come to my own conclusions and then share them. I guess I do sound a little liberal, but then again I'm sure all uneasy people do. I just have felt this way since the 26th of September. It just felt like something snapped. I've been uneasy since.

All I'm saying is liberals have the most pessimistic world view of anyone. At least Christian fundamentalists believe they'll be snatched up to heaven before the world ends. Liberals are planning on being right there for the end of the world. The whole paradigm is based on victimology.

I consider myself to be a liberal person, but I am not pessimistic.

The world is what it is. Both optimism and pessimism are simply a projection of our attitudes onto that which is. The world goes on, regardless of what we think about it. Just accept it and enjoy the ride.

Sometimes you have to tell your brain to shut the fuck up in order to enjoy life.

There are enough reasons and bad stuff going on to be pessimistic for hundred of life times.

I have no sense of foreboding. All is well.
But whenever I have that sense, I tend to ignore it and it goes away.
