This guy should face criminal charges. I'm sure there will be a civil suit, shortly.
For just an instant, have a glimpse, a vision, of life through my eyes. It is a staggeringly joyous perspective, a view of how each person's choices can make their own life better. It is a vision of the possible, of how things can and should be.

There are always two sides to any story, but taken at face value that's horrendous. If it happened as that article says, he should lose his job and be up for criminal charges (is assaulting a minor a valid charge?)

If everything went the way it ought to....
I do not like civil charges in cases like this. Of course, someone should pay the medical bills for the ones who were injured, but they ought to do that without the need for a civil case. If the guy is guilty then he should face criminal charges, not civil ones. If he's not guilty then he should face neither.
