Impeach Dick Cheney

I sent an email about impeachment to my congressman, too. Here's what he responded with. (reddit.com)

My personal opinion is that he should be impeached anyway. The US govt is already too far away from its people.

Why do we kill people who kill people, to show killing people is wrong?

And how is the death penalty a penalty? You can't regret what you have done and learn from your mistakes, if you're dead.

I'm just not gullible.

The Republicans, in general, are basically New Deal Democrats. There are very few "conservatives" in government, anymore, and there's nothing conservative about war. War is state-sanctioned murder, IMO.

We should probably save the death penalty debate for it's own thread. I didn't mean to move off-topic.
