Isn't it great that the Harper government has so much extra money lying around that they can afford to blow $21 million (up from the Liberals' $2.1 million in 2005) on a Canada Day party?

Come to think of it, the government wastes money paying me to sit here and post on these forums all day, so I probably shouldn't be a hypocrite.

Well, one could argue that sharing information has a long term benefit though ... I've learned a great deal about other countries/cultures online.
