| Ok, well you know Benoit, much like the other members of the WWE/WWF that have admitted to rampant Steroid and HGH use (Hulk Hogan comes to mind - You do the prayers, the vitams, the workout, and the roids, and youll be as big as me one day kid), are probably all as roid rage driven as anyone else that would actually use those things. I seem to remember that even at one time Vince McMahon was sued because he let the WWE/WWF members use steroids knowingly. Still I think that Benoit was also at the center of one of the largest Steriod and Growth Hormone rings in the nation (or so its claimed). Its not surprising, based on the number of Steroid related deaths that have occured over the years suffered by Pro-Wrestling members. It comes to mind though I dont know that I ever heard that being said of any of the Legendary Hart family. Stu Hart was a good wrestler in his day. Even Wreslted a Bear at one point. Pumping your kid, because hes too small, full of HGH is crazy. It might turn him into the attatche of John Holmes, but it wont do much for actual height. |

Then, something probably happened between him and his wife and he snapped and killed her and their kid. As for giving his kid growth hormones, I have no idea why they would do such a thing, and it's not my place to speculate. All I know is that more than steroids played a role in the murder-suicide. |

| I couldn't find the direct link but TLC (the learning channel) and discovery had a story about a body builder who was in a roid ring and how he used steroids to archive the largest biceps. He served time in prison for selling roids etc.. The show was called "The Man With Exploding Arms" and his website is GreggValentino.net - Welcome to GreggValentino.net Its pretty crazy, if you ever see it on its a very interesting story. |

| Any one who's pride is in perfection will struggle to reach that perfect image, often their whole lives. The sad thing is when it becomes so engulfing, so distorting, that it takes over their lives and nothing else matters. Bulimia and anorexia are good examples of this. I guess if being muscly and athletic were the only time you cared about at all.... then in some way death would be better then the shame on not achieving that, such as with his family... Still, thats pretty messed up. How ironic to do it with a weight machine pulley.... |
