what is your opinion on illegal immigration?

So today an acquaintance of mine offered to pay me to do her english homework. She had to write one paper supporting illegal immigration and another paper against it. So I was curious what your thoughts are on it? Ill admit writing the paper supporting it was hard because I'm so against it. Personally my ancestors had to wait more than a decade to come here from norway I don't think its fair that they can just hop a border.

What do you think?

i think the law is really stupid, like they are blocking all immigrants from coming. All they want is to start a better life, so what the hell is the problem with it? Yes there are some smugglers or whatever, but I don't see why you can't just tell the difference between them and actual people who want to start a life. Umm could it be to search each immigrant of everything they are trying to bring into the U.S.? that's not hard. I'm for it because if they want good lives for their families i don't see what else they're supposed to do. So yeah I am not against it.

I'm against it. A lot of them come to america for a better life, but is it really that much better for them? some of them can't speak english, so that makes it even harder to get a job. If you're trying to make a good life for yourself, you shouldn't break laws, because that is just more trouble for you.
