my opinion:

the book : "the ragged trouser philanthropist" is pretty highlighting to me how our society hasnt left the squalid standards of social equality of the stone ages...

like that movies about the hacker/neo....the trick is "illusion of choice"

so to make this relevant to now,,,, we vote to make our selves feel better about the scumbags we elevate topositions of power over us.

may not be right.....but its just my opinion.

edit: and if he does step down....i forsee one of his brethren stepping up to replace the poodium....just like the yakuza or the hydra....take one head down and another steps up to replace it

all we can hope for is that the next one is just a fraction better than his/her predecessor.........unlikely but i have my fingers crossed
