Smile Hopes for the New Economy in Late Capitalism

Dear All,

Hi, I'm Jesse, invited at my warm honor by a leader at ubuntuforums.org to join this forum.

A little about me, before jumping into discussion with the bright souls whom no doubt are quickly appraising my merits in string theoretical capacity :-)

I've spent the last four years working to make it as a poet. I'm trying to publish my book, The Horror of Unlove, in two "prestigious" contests for younger, unpublished poets. Hope I don't need to explain my use of "scare quotes" to anybody (wink). Now I'm trying to expand my vision into larger spheres of ideation, network with people in good-faith relationships towards not only to mobilize a Kansas City business startup venture, but to help people here and far.

Anyhow, I'm happy to be here. I hope to make your friendly acquaintance, to begin with.

And, for the robust picture of what I am trying to do: Google search my full name: Jesse Crockett.

Now, regarding the subject of this entry. Well, you may already have opened another tab for searching my name. I would.

Best wishes,

Jesse

Nice introduction. Too bad it is in the wrong place. Welcome anyway.
In case it wasn't apparent, sarcasm is yet another free service I offer.

Hi! Thanks, I was starting to worry about having overstated myself.

But let me ask you, kindly, why is my introduction in the wrong place? And why is it too bad? What if you had doubled your decision-making time to post your response? That's what I'm interested in. And I don't say that with any measue of sarcasm or irony. It's really what I'm studying.

Introduce yourself here thread.

It's too bad because you did not post about the stated topic, and defrauded me into reading an introduction in the wrong place. If I had doubled my "decision-making time" it would still be in the wrong place.

I don't mean to defraud you. I was only excited to be a part of something good here that I posted in the first forum where my other thoughts are focused.
