WIll a gay person ever try to run for president/ vice pres.?

It will be awesome if it happens, but how long until?

The US is far too homophobic to have a gay person in office. They don't even support gay marriages.

I can't stand the US. Things are banned because of the lack of seperation of state and religeon.

REligion is supposivly not imposed according to congress, but I truley feel other wise because most of are state and country desions are based on things in the Christian/Catholic religion, which is what the president supports.

Sadly, I doubt that it'll happen anytime soon! The States are just not ready for it yet! Too many traditional thinking people IMO! If the Democrats were to nominate a gay candidate, they'd be handing the Republicans another term IMO! Heck, there hasn't even been a Female nor Black U.S. President yet ... well if you discount T.V. (ie: 24, Commander-in-Chief, an episode of the Simpsons) and movies (Mercury Rising) ... and even at that, it would be a huge leap for the U.S.!

i dont think so. A female hasn't even run for president yet. its going to be a while till a gay person does but it would be interestng ecspecially if they didn't no he was gay till he was voted in. major scandal!
