You people are obviously young and have no idea on what you are talking about so i will not even bother to reply on the current subject matter. If you are going to idiotically try to converse on world politics and war, then please learn to read the facts and learn to spell so that your posts can look a little educated. You speak wrongly of Bush and the war with your two sentences.

I think the war is totally stupid, i mean it's nice that we are trying to help them, but i think we've done pretty much all we can. It time for the soliders to come home to their families.

Dear ReeRun,
I would like to point out that this is a forum, a place where people can go to post their opinions and ideas. If you feel as if it is your place to criticize everyone about their opinions, you're dead wrong. It is not your place to do this, and people like you should keep your thoughts to yourself. If you read my original post, I am asking people for their opinions. Now, If you want to respond back to me, please private message me. Thank you,
Saitorul

I think something needed to be done. I'm not a fan of war, but I think it is necessary sometimes. He was a horrible person and someone needed to get him out of there.
I don't think Bush deserves all the horrible things people say about him. He's just trying to help.

Default Iraqi war

i support our president 110%. No one was going to help iraq and i'm glad that someone finally did. Sadam was like todays hitler and what the iraqis had to got through was terrible. I have family over in iraq and love them and worry about them everyday but i try to put myself in the peoples shoes living over there. women would be murdered in the streets and called adulterers for no reason and sending bombs on your own people or anyone for that matter is horrible. I hope one day iraq is as lucky and has all the freedoms that we all take for granted.

Personally I am not a fan of war, and think there are other ways of getting things done. I was completely against the war at first, but when my cousin got shipped to Iraq I started to see things differently. Something needed to be done down there, and Sadam needed to be taken out of power. It is just to bad that we had to go to this extent, since there are going to be casualties on both sides. But now I think it is time to send the soldiers home to their families.

We went in with a goal to find chemical weapons, then we found Sadam and established a rough democracy, dont you think we have interfered enough? the only reason we have to stay in iraq is because the iraqi president asked us to... but then again since when have we listened to them?
I know a couple people that hate gays, democrats and atheists...
They are my parents and im a democratic atheist.

Albino -> It's true that we went in to find chemical weapons and to stop the war on terrorism, but it's gotten to the point where if we do risk pulling out - even if we didn't listen to the Iraqi president - eventually we might have to head on back over there for the simple fact that there are probably always going to be Saddam supporters who are waiting for us to leave so that they can reinstitute "revolution" or whatever you'd like to call it, once again.
I agree with elmolover - but is that the only reason we went over there?
To me, it seems as though the US turns a blind eye on almost all crisis that are occuring around the world, unless it affects our economic status or people or what-have-you in some way. Then it's guns blazing, egos flaring, compromise or nothing attitude.
And in truth this really isn't a war. It's a conflict that's raging on for much too long and might end up like the Korean and Vietnam conflicts.
Keep in mind that this is my opinion please.

Default Iraqi

I feel that both USA and Eurpeon Troops should be pulled out, but this would leave an already fragile region more chaoic.

Troops are trying to help but get attacked and killed regular, British Troops being killed quite recently..

Before anyone thinks I'm for these conflicts, I must point out that I have a son serving in Iraqi, who I would prefer like any other parent wasn't.

All he says is he doing a job, like so many others....!

I, along with the majority of Americans, still have no stinking clue why we went to Iraq in the first place. No it had nothing to do with curbing terrorism (wrong country). It had nothing to do with ridding the country of an "evil dictator" (plenty of worse countries to babysit). The only reason that makes sense is economic gain. But the real question now is: what do we do about Iraq now? We've made a huge mess with no clear solution on how to clean it up. Pulling out would result in disaster. Staying there is disaster. Thanks Bush for doing this to all of us - douche bag. Thanks conservatives and morons for voting him into a second term.

I think a good part of that is simply: America likes to fight enemies that have no real striking potential.

It's also ironic, since America has proven time and time again that it can win against an enemy of equal or greater strength, yet consistently botches the "easy" missions.

My other thoughts about this subject are ones I reserve for a non-public venue. Too many people might get wrong ideas of what I think.

I think it would be a help to the people of Iraq if troops left, because then insurgencies would decrease.
