Default How can you know that a music is "good"?

I wounder how people mean how to decide if a music is "good", or "bad"?

...On my school some of my friends starts laughing, or even mobbing me if they just see a music on my desktop that they "think" is "bad".

That is pretty annoying, because they are many and I am only one.
So when they're many they think they got right.

And they don't care if I say that people is different.

What can I do to these peoples?

Good and bad don't matter in music, it's who can kick who's ass. When my buddies complain I just turn up my music, and tell them I'll kick their ass if they don't like it. But you need to listen to good ass kickin music.

Music is all down to personal choice. "Good music" seems to be whatever is popular in the charts at the time, I just listen to what I like and tell people to STFU if they dont like it.
I'm not a liberal, I'm a fucking socialist.

Well, they're many and you're one. So keep your head down and don't let them see what you listen to. You are right to be an independent thinker, but they'll still pick on you and they've got numbers. Be your own person at home and with your friends, but fly low at school. When you get out, you'll find that that kind of idiocy mostly stops.

You can't fight the whole group. But know this: you are in a better position for life, because you have the ability to think for yourself and make your own decisions. Hold onto that, but in the mean time try to avoid getting picked on.

Oooh goody, a live one. Welcome Jeb.

#1 Don't worry about what other people think of your music unless you choose your music to conform to some clique or whatever.

#2 Good music is what you like. I usually tend to appreciate the stuff that required some skill, innovation, creativity, etc.

In church we sing church music.

Jesus
Name above all names
Blessed redeemer
Glorious lord
Emanual
God is with us
Glorious savior
living word

A lot of people mis-interpret this song. They don't know Jesus and Emanual are the same person. I suppose they could ask bns to look up the ip address of both of them and find out for sure, but they keep asking me.

I just tell them if they don't know Jesus and Emanual are the same person, they must be a homosexual liberal who takes showers with other men in the army.

Why don't you simply leave people alone and stop being suspicious? You seem to have to comment on every thread. Some people are here to have fun. They don't need you acting like a junkyard guard dog.

didn't you say the old testament does not matter any more?
Afaik, Emanuel was the name of the messiah in some prophecy of the old testament.

And Jesus is not called Emanuel, this is one of the reasons Jesus is not recognised as the Messiah in Judaism.

I believe Emanuel is interpreted as meaning "God is With us". That is why the song is sung. This is simply a christian worshipping hymn, not biblical scripture necessarily.

Good music is music you yourself enjoy does not have to be something someone else likes. A good song might be good to you for many reasons. Something happened at the time when that song was on. Alot of people tie their life around music and oh i remember this is the first time i heard this song. I say who cares if they like what you like. Sometimes it is funny though i laugh at other peoples and they laugh at mine and I can laugh at myself. Dont let it get to you
