I'm going to try to get tickets to at least one NC show

it appears something went screwy on the ticket sale today on ticketweb.com
everyone i know who tried to get tickets couldn't even load the site.
now ticketweb says that tickets are onsale at ticketmaster.com, but there is no mention of it at the ticketmaster site.

yeah the orange peel in asheville, nc isn't on there. they were suppose to be onsale today on ticketweb.com (apparently owned by ticketmaster) but there were some problems. now on the ticketweb.com page all the asheville shows are marked to be sold on ticketmaster.com, but they are not there yet.

"Due to a major crash with the ticketing services server, the on-sale for the Smashing Pumpkins residency at the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC, has been temporarily suspended.

Steps are being taken to correct the problem, and we will re-launch ticket sales on sometime Monday May 21, or perhaps Tuesday May 22, as soon as we can be assured that all problems have been resolved. Please note that information on how to purchase tickets will change so please stay tuned for information about the on-sale time and where and how to purchase tickets.

The on sale time will be announced at least four hours prior to the on-sale and will not occur prior to Monday May 21 at 6:00 PM est.

We are very sorry for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding."

Siamese Dream is a good album, but I don't know if it is one of the best of the 90s. One of my main problems with the Pumpkins is that they write a few really good songs per album but the filler just doesn't cut it for me. I am big fan of the double disc album, too. I forgot the name.

Mellon Collie is one of my favorite albums of all time. I can listen to it non-stop for days. Unfortunately, it's the only Smashing Pumpkins I can tolerate

That said, the new single does sound pretty good!

ive got the Aeroplane Flies High, box set. Also known as the mellon collie and the infinite sadness B sides, very well done.
Cant wait to here the new show, or to see them in concert.

unfortunately i did not get tickets to the asheville, nc residency shows. my friend did but he's not taking me

I will have to catch them at a larger venue when they go on tour i guess.

i wasn't aware of the bsides album. i'll look into it.

not very many people are. It is a rare release. Has , i think, 5 cds of about 20-35 minutes each. Some of the songs really do suck, others are exceptional.
