Syd Barrett died this week. I've always been sad about his apparent lack of fame with the younger crowd. Do any of the younger Floyd fans even know who he was?

Yup! We're aware of the Crazy Diamond. Syd was the a genius that influenced Pink Floyd and a lot of the big artists we admire today. His music and guitar work was way ahead of his time. What can you do about the new MTV generation, music isn't about music anymore, it's sad.
