I have always liked those all-mahogany Martins. They have got to be one of the best values for the money and they generally have a nice, warm and even tone.

I agree, although I must admit, lately I'd really like to have a spruce top. My uncle has a Martin he bought from Sam Ash (the man, not just the store) in the early/mid 60s. Apparently, that's going to mine when his fingers just don't have it anymore to play acoustic.

I'll shit when I own that thing.

I'm a guitarist. I have some no-name acoustic and a Dean Flying V with an Crate MX65R (not mine, but using/fixing).

I've been playing guitar for about 9 months.

I mostly use electronics but I would be hard put to cite A favorite genre.
Depends on the moment...could be jazz, experimental, classical, you_name_it!

All styles are inspiring except rap,hip-hop,r'n'b which I'm NOT criticising.
It's poems, not music.

I also play piano and I sing and as a composer, I'm obviously broke.

I am a vocalist/drummer/guitarist. I will begin learning the piano tomorrow :-) Nice to know how to build chords and stuff there too..
As I use Rosegarden in my Ubuntu distribution for music notation, it's a pity the kernel doesn't support faster than 250 Hz timers (Rosegarden always complains about this). Is there a musician kernel available? ;-)

Uhm, no never.. But I Googled it and found out it must be pretty new (opened up at May 11). Looks promising indeed! Does it include a music notation tool? I mainly want to print my own sheet music (but a recording studio is also very welcome, of course ).
