Hi everyone, I've been trying to find something to listen to in Arabic, but nothing seems that interesting so far... And I don't have any idea about English music. So I was hoping you guys would give me some sort of a headstart... I generally like rap, but anything that isn't boring would be fine. Extreme Coder

| Dogs don't make mistakes. | I like The Arcade Fire's Funeral. I'd also recommend Bob Dylan's Highway 61, Revisited. (Those are both albums, btw) |

so are you thinking of classic english music? or do you want to know about new and different stuff too? I'm a fan of old thrash metal, slayer, napalm death, metallica etc. But I also like a lot of the harder electronic dance music... there is quite a breadth of styles that you can choose from... Matt

Wow, music in Arabic and music in English is possibley the biggest jump in the genre. It has something to do with how the scale systems are set up, I think... I'd suggest trance, like DJ Tiesto. Good luck!

Any British music should be fine for a newbie, they are well pronounced and easy to understand. American songs are not useful to learn because of the quick and sometimes sloppy pronunciation.
