Default The Kingdom

Just watched this on DVD. Anyone seen it? Highly recommended if you haven't. It might not appeal to many people here being it portrays the bad guys as bad guys and the good guys as good guys.

I thought about buying it but I didn't have money at the time. I'll probably check out a synopsis about it [since I only have a gist of what its about] and then decide if I want to buy it.

A lot of movies are about good guys killing bad guys and vice versa. I'll admit sometimes I'm in the mood for just plain movies with a lot of action and straight forward plot [not saying The Kingdom is what that is] but a lot of times I like movies that make you think. I'm checking the synopsis now.

I was having fun. I think the movie will make you think. At the same time is has some outstanding action sequences, is well acted (Jamie Fox is one of the best actors in Holywood AFAIC - the rest of the cast is good too) and overall just well done. Its not the best movie of the year (Fracture or The Good Sheperd or that one with Nicolson gets my vote) but its well worth the rental.
