Default Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End

Has anyone seen Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End? How did you like it?

I saw it yesterday night and it was amazing, as were the first two. The cuts and the content itself were really fast so sometimes it was hard to follow the story. There was a lot of action, sensational special effects and it was extremely funny. In many scenes the whole cinema hall was laughing because Captain Jack Sparrow was so typically himself
Friends of mine didn't like the film as much as I did. They said it was the worst of all three. But to my mind it was just a typical "Pirates of the Caribbean"-film.

I loved it! Just saw it. Very good, a few parts where a little confusing. I think it might even be my favorite one, but I am not sure.

And a comment to all of those who have not seen it or will be seeing it again, wait until after the credits *hint hint wink wink*

There's a new PotC movie out? And I didn't even see the last one yet :/ I'm really late with the rest of the world. Maybe I should borrow it from a friend.

I didn't think the last one was great. It seemed as though they tried to rehash the first one from a formula and simply made the movie too long. I think it would have been a better movie if they decided to write two more concise plots rather than this single drawn out one they came up with for the final two. I also think that Kiera Knightly's character was really dumb and frumpy in the second compared to the first. In the first movie, her struggle to be less lady-like and confined seemed to work, in the second movie, her in Pirate gettup made her seem ridiculous and out of place not in high society-- maybe that's the point, but her struggle between the two roles was far more interesting than her picking up either as she pleased and clearly sucking at one of them.

That being said, I have a friend who loves the whole series, second one included, that I pormised to see the third with, but he's in Arizona until Wednesday.

Even if it isn't your favorite series of movies, you still need to see the third one if you saw the second, no point in leaving something unfinished.

It rocked a lot. I loved it. A few things left me going "Hay what?" but still, good good stuff.

That reminds me of something: In a trailer of the the third film I heard something like "all questions will be answered and every mystery will be revealed."
Well, in a certain way this is true also there are new mysteries added (and revealed?). I liked this way of "think, concentrate, you MUST get it all" that I felt during the film

Yeah, that is true. The movie did sort of make you inadvertently think and try and understand, and it was kind of cool, I know of only a few other movies that have done that.

I thought this one was a jumbled mess. The last 30 minutes were great, but the first two hours had terrible transitions and there were too many unorganized plotlines. I liked the second one, but I couldn't find anything new in the third.

You can't seriously think that a movie based on a theme-park ride makes you think more than most movies. You just tried too hard to like it.

There's a difference between thinking about yourself and about life and thinking about the sense of the film, I agree.
But nevertheless, I am sure that everything can make you thing. If it changes your life is definitely another thing.
