Yeah there were some people in my theater who took the movie very seriously. I remember being the only ones who laughed really hard when Spiderman jumped in front of a huge flag. Oops

The movie was alright. It didn't make me go home all excited about the next spiderman movie though.

There is a another Spiderman movie coming?! Ah, the horror ...
*goes to look at Wikipedia for Spiderman 4*

"However, after the release of Spider-Man 3 the co-chairperson of Sony Pictures Entertainment, Amy Pascal, stated in an interview with Daily Variety that there will be "a fourth and a fifth and sixth and a seventh" movie, and that "as many stories as Peter Parker has to tell we'll do sequels". A similar statement was made by SPE chief executive Michael Lynton to the BBC."

Seven movies? When was the last time that a franchise had this many sequels that was actually good?

I loved the humor about Peter's new "cool" image after he started wearing the black suit including the dance scene which previous posters here seemed not to like.

Agreed. It was ok, but not as good as the first two.

I thought it sucked pretty much all the way through until the end. The ending was so awesome I reckon, made it all worth while.

I've seen it - took my kids to it. I would never have seen it for my own sake, at least not at the cinema. It was highly predictable. That alone gets it a thumbs-down from me.

I loved the first one, a little disappointed in the second one. The last one felt too packed. Like they were trying to get too much in. So you had slow parts of the movie that were boring, with all of the personal stuff.

This move just didn't do it for me...
