|  Help! Rock Music! Hey all, Okay so I need help with darker rock music. Any guys here that could help me? I'm really into My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Story Of The Year, Taking Back Sunday, ect. But, I want something darker. Any suggestions? Are there any Him, Iron Maiden, or Misfit fans here? | when you say darker? What do you mean? Like harder rock? Or more depression stuff? Cuz you can do Puddle of Mudd, Metallica, Creed, Godsmack, Korn, System of a Down |

Just think...lower pitched music and heave drumming compared to high guitar sounds. That's the best way I can describe it. ohh...and slipknot is good too. CannabilCorpus has some crazy stuff and you might want to try listening to some death metal. | |

| Well, those bands sound kool... I'll give them a try. My friend (let's call her C) C, likes Korn I have one of their cds I got it from my mom's car someone left it in there (long story). Anyway, they sounded really screamo- that was when I was in like third grade now, i'm like a freshie. So, it's been a while can someone explain what the Korn obssesion is all about? *GOSSIP GIRL* |

| Korn was one of the earliest Nu-metal bands. They aren't screamo at all (which is more punk than anything). Korn is what I like to call an open gate band for those who want to experiment with darker types of music and start getting into heavy metal. |
