| Coretta Scott King dies at 78. Battling some health problems for sometime has passed on. She was the wife to civil rights movement Dr. Martin Luther King. She is just as widely known for the civil rights movement as her husband was. She was in many marches along side of her husband. She struggled for years to have her husband's birthday declared as a federal holiday. President Ronald Reagan signed into effect in 1981. She served on the delegation to team to the United Nations. She attended Antioch College in Ohio to study music. She is survived by her 4 children. |
