Is this degrading to teens?

Hey do you guys think that websites such as http://www.meTeen.com which allow you to meet other teens based on picking out the hot ones to talk to are degrading to society?

Like, I signed up for meTeen the other day and I find myself only talking to the really hot teens.

What do you think??

If i'm reading this right, you only get to talk to hot teens? If so I think its wrong that it's only for the looks. Maybe you can give a little more info about this.

I personally think that's really degrading. I'm one that probably wouldn't be talked to that much, cuz I'm not that "hot" in society's eyes, and I already have self-esteem issues, so that would kill me...

sad. i would get talked to but i'd be pissed about it. i hate when guys only talk to me for my tits. but it doesn't happen that often since there are other interestin things about me. but when it does. i have the guys i grew up with take care of them for me

i don't think that that is correct mainly because you don't really know what the other person looks like even if they send u a pic over the net they might have gotten that pic from some other person.

It is not degrading as it is shallow.
1. How do you know what they really look like.
2. What your definition of "hot" will be different than others.
3. Are you "hot"? Some one probalby says yes, others might say no.
4. Websites like that are funny, and also stupid if you actually think about it.

it seems it would be. im actually writing a paper on how tv shows and certain things on the internet are starting to degrade society more than they used to a few decades ago.
