Summary: This fic takes place after season 5, when the Mall rats have left the city, where the virus, Mark Two, has spread, and have gone to get their friends back, with help from Lex. It takes place two weeks after the prisoners of the Techno Camps have been released. (BTW: Everyone is on the boat. They freed the prisoners, but haven't found a place to stay just yet.) Chapter 1 Bray looked at Amber. He smiled a little. It had seemed like forever since they had been able to spend some time alone. "Amber, is he asleep yet?" Bray whispered, concerned. Now it was Amber's turn to smile. "Bray Jr. is sleeping peacefully. Don't worry." She assured Bray. Amber put a finger to her lips, and pointed to Bray Jr., silently asking Bray to stay quiet. Bray turned around, and smiling, looked at his son. The smile he had just been wearing, fell off his face. Memories plagued his mind. Memories of what things had been like, when he and some of the others, had been in the Techno Prison Camps. A shiver went down Bray's spine, as he remembered the screams of the female prisoners. He sighed. The sounds still haunted him, even though it was two weeks later, and they were all on the boat. Bray shook the horrible memories away, and turned back to Amber. He was shocked to find out, she was dating Jay. The guy had been a Techno, after all. Bray couldn't stand the thought of Amber letting a Techno help to raise his son. So he turned away from Amber for a moment. Bray smiled a moment later, as the sound of Tai-san and Lex arguing in the room next door, reached his ears. It was Heaven. Pure Heaven. And Bray was glad he was back, to be a part of it. A moment later, Lex and Tai-san calmed down. He heard Ellie and Jack talking, and smiled. -------- Chapter 2 Ellie laid down in the bed that she and Jack were sharing, in their new room, aboard the boat. Most of the Mall rats had been on the boat for several weeks now. However, their friends who had been prisoners in the Techno Prison Camps, had only been on the boat for one week, since they had gotten free. Ellie smiled, as she looked at Jack. She could tell that he was happy. They had all of their friends and family back. Well, most of them anyway. Ellie thought, staying silent. Dal, Siva, Luke, and Zandra, were dead, and there was nothing that they could do about it. She sighed, as a tear trickled down her cheek, at the thought of Dal. He'd been like a brother to her, and hadn't deserved to die. Dal had been a sweet guy. Ellie reached up slowly, and was about to wipe the tear away, when another hand got there first. It was Jacks. He held her hand, and began to speak quietly. "I know you miss Dal. So do I. Look at it this way. He's in a better place." Jack said softly. Ellie nodded. "I know he is. It's just.. I still miss him." She said softly, beginning to cry again. A moment later, Ellie felt the gentle pressure of arms around her, and was pulled into a standing position next to Jack. When Ellie got up, she was immediately pulled into a hug. "Is this helping?" Jack asked softly. Ellie just nodded, as she continued to hang onto Jack. Right now, there was only them. It was so quiet, as if the world was gone, and nothing else mattered. -------- Chapter 3 Bray turned back to Amber, after listening to Lex and Tai-san, and Ellie and Jack, all talking. "I really missed all this," he said, motioning around the boat. "I missed hearing all of our friends and family, arguing and fighting, and then a few moments later, all making up. I also just missed being here." Bray said softly. He watched Amber as she changed their son, and wondered if she and Jay were serious, then Bray wondered if he should ask. He didn't know what to do anymore, and was frustrated. Bray sighed, and decided to ask. After all, he had moved on with Danni, and they couldn't be happier. But somehow, for some strange reason, seeing Amber with this Techno, err, Jay, as they all called him, made Bray feel more than a little uncomfortable, since it had been his old Tribe, who had taken him, and their other friends in the first place, and Bray couldn't decide weather or not he even wanted to, or was going to trust this guy. He sighed, and sat down on a chair. He was nervous, and it was killing him. Bray paused, when he saw Amber turn away from Bray Jr., to look at him. She quickly finished changing him, and then laid the child down, to go to sleep. "Bray, I know it's probably hard, being with everyone again, after getting taken away, and since we have absolutely no idea what you went through, when you were taken prisoner, but no matter what, just know we still care about you. Especially Brady. She missed her uncle. And Trudy, she missed you too. She was afraid you'd died, like Martin, and had left her alone." -------- Chapter 4 Ruby was sitting off to the side of everything and everyone. She was still hurt, from being pushed in front of the van that had been coming toward them. She knew Ebony had been jealous and afraid she'd lose Slade to the baby and her enemy. But Ruby was hurt most, to find out that she really wasn't pregnant. She sighed. Ruby had wanted to have Slade's baby more than anything. And now she knew that that wasn't ever going to happen. Ruby fell silent as they just continued to sail. She looked at the water and missed her saloon. Ruby sighed a few moments later, as she got up from where she had been sitting, and slowly and carefully, walked over to the railing of the boat. She missed her saloon, and it was really hard being here, and having to leave everything that she had worked so hard for, behind. She turned around slowly, and looked at the others. She saw Salene and May talking quietly in a corner, Jack and Ellie holding each other and whispering softly, to each other. Ruby turned and looked for Slade, and saw him hugging Ebony from behind. She turned away from the couples, since she felt alone, and awfully jealous. Ruby sighed again, and went in search for Lottie. A few minutes later, she found Lottie, and she wasn't alone. Ruby was surprised to see Lottie with Ram, talking and playing a game. She walked silently up to them, and sat down on the right side of Lottie, before speaking. "Hey you two, what are you up to?" Ruby asked softly. A moment later, both Ram and Lottie focused their attention on her. "Ruby, you're okay!" Lottie said, before she jumped to her feet, and threw herself at Ruby. Ram however, just smiled. "Feeling better after Ebony's tantrum?" He asked. Ruby didn't reply, she just smiled at Lottie. -------- Chapter 5 Tai-san looked around the room she and Lex were sharing. She sighed softly. It was strange, being back with everyone again, all of the Mall rats. As Tai-san watched her husband, a smile crossed her face, as she remembered how happy and relieved she had been to see him, and their friends, just show up all of a sudden on a large boat. She walked over to the other side of the room, and walked up to Lex. She wrapped her arms tightly around his waist, silently letting Lex know that she loved him and had missed him while she had been taken. “Are you okay, babe?” Lex asked softly. Tai-san smiled, when Lex spoke. “Yes, I’m fine. I’m just getting used to being here with you, and with everyone again.” She said softly. She laid her head down on his shoulder. “Do you know how much I missed you? How many nights I wanted to find you here in our bed, waiting for me?” She asked, before turning Lex around to face her. He nodded. “Actually, I do. I wanted to find you so bad. I even threatened Mega, to try and make him help me find you.” Lex said. Tai-san nodded. “I’m happy now, though. We’re together again, and are with our friends, so that’s all that matters.” She said, smiling as Lex grabbed her left hand, and held it in his. Tai-san paused a moment later. She sensed the millions of questions that Lex wanted to ask her, but she also knew that he wouldn’t ask her about the camps, at least, not just yet, and she was extremely grateful. “How have you been?” She asks, trying to get the topic off of herself, and back to somewhere that wouldn’t cause any problems. Lex smiled sadly, knowing that she didn’t want to talk about what she’d been through. “I’ve been okay. I’ve been trying to help Jay and Amber with get rid of the Techno’s.”

Chapter 6 May and Salene were sitting by themselves, on a bench, talking quietly. “How does it feel to finally have Ryan back?” May asked softly. Salene looked at her friend for a moment, before responding. “It feels weird, as if this is some kind of dream, and the time Pride and I had together, seems as if it was fake. Like it was something I needed to believe so I could just get through each day. Does that even make sense?” Salene asked, feeling stupid as she spoke her inner thoughts aloud. May shook her head no. “What it sounds like, is a woman trying to decide what she wants. Which is a good thing. Because that is something that you need to figure out.” She said. Salene looked at May silently for a few moments, before speaking. “What if I’m not sure of what I want?” She asks, feeling a wave of uncertainties wash over her. May smiled. “Well, you have time to find out. We probably won’t be reaching land for a long time now.” May said reassuringly. Salene smiled at her friend. “Thank you for being here for me. I know that it can’t be easy, with the way you are feeling.” She said, before reaching over and hugging May. “Thanks for being my friend.” Salene said. May nods quickly. “In all honesty, it’s me who should be thanking you, Sal.” May said. “You were the one who stuck up for me and brought me back to the Mall, even though I betrayed all of you.” She said, and then fell silent. Salene turned May around to face her. “As I said that day, I’ll say it again. We all make mistakes, and then we learn from them. That is all that matters.” Salene said, and May realized that she meant it. “What would I do without you?” May asked. Salene shrugged. “You would probably be in the city still, trying to outrun the virus or something like that.” Salene said. She was glad that things were okay between them now. -------- Chapter 7 Lottie looked at Ruby for a few minutes. Then she looks at Ram, knowing that he would tell her the truth, and not try to hide things from her, just because of the fact that she is a kid. Lottie walked over to Ram, and she sat down next to him. “Ram, are we in trouble? How long are we going to be on the boat? When are we going to get off the boat again, and when we get off the boat, what are we going to do?” Lottie asked, worried. Ram glanced at Ruby, trying to decide what he should say to Lottie. A few moments later, he decides to tell her what he is thinking. “I don’t think we’re in trouble, not yet at least. We’re just busy.” Ram said, trying to speak as honestly as he could Lottie, without trying to worry her. “I think that we may be on the boat for quite a while, or until the gas runs out. I’m not really sure when we will get off the boat a second time. However, I do know that when we all finally get off of the boat, that we will find a really big place to live, and we all will live there. Or, we will find several places nearby each other, and we will all split up, and we will live there until we are sure that the city is safe for us to go back to. That is, if we're even going back to the city.” Ram said, as he thought about how long it would take for the virus to leave the city. He looked at Ruby, as he saw a tear slip down her cheek. “What are the tears for, Ruby? Everyone’s safe, and no one was left behind. Except for those who didn’t make it.” Ram said, as he thought about how much he had loved Java, and how he was missing her right now. Lottie looked at the two adults. “Don’t cry. We still have each other. And for some, that’s more than they started out with.” Lottie said softly. Ruby nodded, and she wiped away her tears, before motioning for Lottie to come and sit next to her and Ram. -------- Chapter 8 Ellie smiled at Jack. “I’m glad that I’m back to normal. I was afraid, when I first came back. I didn’t know anyone, only you and that kind of scared me. But then, when all of it came back, I was so happy, to be able to recognize everyone, and not have to feel so alone anymore.” She said. Jack nodded. “I’m glad too, that you’re back to normal. It was strange, when you couldn’t remember anyone else. What was also strange, was you kind of remembered Jay. Why do you think that is?” Jack asked. Ellie sighed. “Java and Mega were looking for Jay. I heard them arguing all of the time, about trying to find him.” Ellie said. Jack nodded. “How did they treat you? Ebony, Java, and Siva, when you first came across them, before they took you in?” Jack asked. Ellie shrugs. “They treated me like a maid. I was to clean all of the rooms in the school, and I was never allowed be around Ebony. I never knew why, though. Until one day, I walked by Ebony’s room, and Java had placed one of the head sets on her. A moment later, Ebony started to freak out. And I knew something was wrong. I just didn’t know what. Java saw me, and she told me to stay away from Ebony.” Ellie said. A moment later, the door to their room opened, and Jack and Ellie, as one, turned to see who was there. Ellie smiled, when she saw Cloe. “Cloe, how are you?” Ellie asked, pulling out of Jack’s embrace, and walking over to the younger girl. Ellie hugged her. Cloe smiled, as Ellie hugged her. Then, she looked at Jack. “Hi Jack. I missed you.” She said, and waited to see what he was going to do. Cloe was relieved when Jack walked over to her, a second later, and hugged her. “You’re almost all grown up.” He said, and looked Cloe over. “How are things with Ved?” Jack asked. Cloe smiled. “Things are great.” -------- Chapter 9 Tai-san smiled, as she looked out the window, and saw May and Salene talking. “How is Salene? I heard about Pride, and I wanted to tell her that I’m so sorry. Tai-san said softly. Lex nods. “She and May have started to become real good friends, it seems.” He said, with an edge of uncertainty in his voice. Tai-san looks at Lex. “What do you mean they have become real good friends? Are they… together?” She asked, looking at Lex curiously. Lex nodded. Tai-san paused for a moment. Then she just shrugged. “So, what’s so wrong about that? If they really care for each other, what does it matter? Tai-san said. Lex stared at his wife in disbelief. “Are you serious? Having some… Um, you know.. People like that in our tribe, doesn’t bother you? Don’t tell me that it doesn’t. Because you’re a female too.” Lex said, as if that made his point. Tai-san shrugged. “How someone chooses to live their life is up to them. However, if it comes right down to it, I will support them in their decision.” Tai-san said, and she waited to see what Lex was going to say to her remark. Lex sighed. “Fine. But I don’t really like this.” He said, before motioning for Tai-san to sit down. Tai-san nodded. “I that thought you were gonna say that.” Tai-san said. “But what Salene and May choose to do, is their business. And since we are their friends, then we should be behind them, to support them no matter what.” Tai-san said. Lex nodded. “You’re right. I’m just not used to it. I’m not sure if I ever will be, either. I’m just used to Salene being with Ryan.” Lex admitted. Tai-san nodded. “But what if Salene didn’t love Ryan anymore? Would you want her to stay with him, and live a lie?” Tai-san asks. Lex shook his head. “It’ll take me awhile to get used to it, I guess.” He said.

Thanks. Here's some more... Chapter 10 Bray nodded, after Amber spoke. “Well, I’m not dead. But I’m sorry for leaving you on your own, and having Trudy find you, and for you having trouble with the baby. I’m sorry I wasn’t there to help you.” He said. Amber nods in understanding. She walked right over to Bray, and then tilted his chin so that he was looking into her eyes. “It’s not your fault. Nor is it any of the others faults, that all you guys just happened to have gotten captured .Yes, I’ll admit, when I was in labor, and you were nowhere to be seen, it felt like a pretty good time to want to start cursing you for getting me into this. But then I remembered that after everything we had been through, that you wouldn’t just go off and leave me, unless it was important.” Amber said softly. Bray nodded. “I’m just, sorry that I couldn’t be there for you, and to see our son, as he was being born.” He said. Amber looked at Bray. “Trudy found me, a little while after you had gotten taken, I guess. She was there with me through the labor, as I was for hers. She was a rock, which was what I needed.” Amber said in remembrance. Bray looked up all of a sudden. Amber turned to the doorway, to see Jay walk in. “Is everything okay in here?” He asked cautiously. Bray looked at Jay for a few moments, before turning to Amber. He saw love for Jay, in Amber’s eyes, and love for Amber, in Jay’s eyes. It was so strange, to not be the one receiving the looks of longing and love from Amber’s eyes. Bray, finding his voice, spoke a second later. “Everything is fine. I just wanted to speak with Amber for a few moments. To remember a few things.” Bray said. “But now that you’re back, I’m going to go and check on Danni and Amiee. I should go.” He said, then a moment later, all that Amber and Jay saw, was the back of a silent Bray, the door swinging shut, then silence filled the room. “What happened? You look like you just saw a ghost.” Jay said, and then he moved closer to Amber, and pulled her into a gentle hug. Amber looked up at Jay. “In a way, I did. If Danni’s here, then it means that Bray moved on, and I don’t think I’m ready to accept that.” Amber admitted. Jay looked at Amber. “You need to understand things from his point of view. Bray probably thought he would never see you again. And then he found Danni, who I hear he had been looking for, for a long time. He probably thought it best to move on, which is why you should support him. After all, you moved on, just as he did.” Jay said. -------- Chapter 11 Ellie smiled, and she motioned for Cloe to come into the room. When the younger girl did so, Ellie closed the door, and then went and took a seat next to Jack. “Are you okay?” She asked, wondering if the girl wanted to talk about what had happened when she had been in the prison camps. Cloe looked at Jack and Ellie, before speaking. “Ved got beaten up, when we were in the prison camps. He was beaten up pretty bad. It was so bad, that he couldn’t walk for a while.” Cloe said. She paused a moment later, as the memories washed over her. Ellie touched the other girls arm, in a gesture of comfort. “Everything is going to be okay now. You guys are all back here, with your friends and family, and we will get through everything.” Jack, who has stayed silent during the conversation between Ellie and Cloe, decided to speak. “Ellie’s right Cloe. We are all family now, whether we like it or not. Because each other, is all that we have left. And to me, you guys are all that I’ll ever need. I mean, I saw Danni earlier. She and Bray have a daughter. The little girl that she is holding, that’s her name, Aimee. And I respect her for it. I’m sure that living in the prison camps, being pregnant, and then having to raise a daughter all on her own, is pretty hard, and that’s why I respect her. Because she was able to go on, when her back was against the wall, and everything, and everyone was probably against her.” And no matter what may happen now, I will continue to respect her.” Jack said. Ellie nodded. She turned to a moment later Cloe. “Where is Ved?” She asks curiously. Cloe smiled a little. “He’s lying down in our room. Ved decided that he needed some time alone before he approached Jay. You see, there was a lot of bad blood between them. More than you would even think possible.” Cloe said softly. She smiled again. This time it was a real smile. “I missed you guys, a lot. I was afraid I would never see any of you again. I mean, I stayed with Danni in the girls tent, and hung around with Bray, when we weren’t working or sleeping, but it’s not the same. I missed having the freedom that we used to have, when we lived in the Mall.” Cloe paused. “Is it true? Did the virus overrun the whole city?” Ellie nods. “Yes.” She whispered. -------- Chapter 12 Lottie sat down next to Ram and Ruby. “Ruby, what’s going to happen with all of us now? Are we all still going to see each other? I mean, am I still going to be able to see you and Slade? Who am I going to stay with? You and Slade are the only two people that I know, and trust enough to be able to stay with. I don’t really know the others as well as I know you and Slade.” Lottie said, and she began to worry. Ruby looks at Lottie, before smiling. She turns the young girl to face her, and then began to speak. “Listen Lottie, whatever happens between me and Slade, will never change what we feel for you. Do you understand, sweetie?” Ruby asked. Lottie nods a moment later. “Yes Ruby, I understand. What I don’t understand, is why you and Slade, can’t be together.” She said. Ruby sighs, as she tried to decide how she wanted to approach this subject. Ram, who had been just sitting there quietly, began to speak. “Lottie, Ruby and Slade are just friends. They decided that it would be better for them to be friends, then it would for them to be a couple.” Ram said. He looked at Ruby, to see her reaction to what he had just said. The smile on her face, felt like a reward, and he was happy. Turning back to Lottie, he saw that the child was yawning. “Well, it looks like someone here is tired. Lottie go crawl in that bed.” Ram said, motioning to the bed that was on the other side of the room. Lottie looked at Ruby, who nodded, before getting up and going over to the bed, crawling in, and then falling asleep a few minutes later. Ruby smiled at Ram. “You’re really good with her, you know that, right?” Ruby asked, as she looked over at the bed, where Lottie was now sleeping. Ram shrugs. “I was an only child. I used to love watching my neighbor’s kids. It made me feel important, and not lonely.” Ram admitted. Ruby nods. “Talking about this makes me think about my brother, Blake. He was only a year older then me, but when they were calling all of the adults, to move them, when the virus was getting out, he had to go with them. Blake had just turned 18 the day before the virus came about, and ruined everything. I saw him leave, tears running down his face. He waved goodbye to me, as my parents dragged him out of our house. That was the last time I saw him.” -------- Chapter 13 May smiled at Salene. “What at you thinking about?” She asked, noting the sad, serious look that was on Salene’s face. Salene shrugged a second later. The movement was forced. “I’m thinking about Pride. I miss him.” She said softly. May nodded in understanding. “Are you going to get back together with Ryan, though? He still loves you, Salene. You owe it to him, and yourself, to see if there are any sparks left, before going and just dismissing the love that Ryan has for you, simply because of the fact that Ryan isn’t Pride.” May said. Salene nodded. “I know… But it’s just so hard… Being here and all. And knowing that I’ll never see Pride again.” Salene said softly. “But, you’re right. I need to talk to Ryan, but I’m just not ready yet. I’m still trying to comprehend everything that’ happened, with the Techno’s, and now having everyone back.” Salene said. She looks up from the ground, where she had been staring, and turned to May. “May, I need you to promise me, that no matter what happens, you and I will always remain friends.” Salene said. May nodded. “Of course we will always be friends. We’re not going to go and let another guy come between us, and ruin our friendship.” She said with a smile. Salene nodded, and she pulled May into a hug. “Thanks for always being here. You were here when I needed you the most. I can’t say that for many other people.” Salene admitted. May nodded. “It’s all about finding something or someone you love, and sticking with it, or sticking with them.” She said. Salene nodded. “I wonder what's going to happen now, where we’ll end up.” May shrugged. “I don’t know. But one thing’s for sure. I’m actually glad that Lex tricked us, and brought all of us to the island. I’m so glad that we were able to find all of our friends, and be able to bring them with us wherever we go.” She said. Salene nodded. She got up, and looked out of the window. The sun was setting. She motioned for May to get up also, and they both stood there, just looking out of the window, loving how everything was peaceful for once, and how they were able to enjoy the sunset in peace. May smiled, as she watched Salene’s reaction to the sunset. She knew the other girl was remembering many things, probably how things had been before the virus. May just stood next to Salene, and hugged her friend. “Everything is going to be okay now. We have all of our friends back, and we are all together. To me, we have everything."

Chapter 14 Fish sighed, as he continued to manage the boat. He was getting kind of tired, of having so many people on his boat. He wondered when they would reach their new destination. Fish had been more than a little bit surprised, when Lex had approached him a few days ago, handed him a map, and had told him to go to the place that was marked in red. Fish had looked at Lex, and had tried to explain how he, Amber, and Jay, hadn’t decided yet, where they wanted to go. Lex had just smiled, handed him the paper again, and said to trust him, that if they went to the place he was suggesting, Amber would be perfectly fine with it. Fish, not knowing what else to do, had taken the paper with a nod. Then, he watched as Lex smirked, as he walked out of the room. Fish had wondered where they were going, but thought it best not to question. As he looked around, and tried once more, to get used to having dozens more people on his boat, then they had bargained, Fish wondered what they were going to do, if by some strike of bad luck, the boat ran out of fuel. He didn’t want to have to leave his boat. And he surely didn’t want to leave his boat in the hands of the Mall rats. They would probably try and take over his boat, and do something stupid, like going out and trying to find more people to bring aboard. Fish walks over to the desk that was in the left hand corner, and opened the bottom drawer. He pulls out a pack of smokes, a lighter from, his pocket, and then, dropping both the pack, and the lighter into the drawer, he closed it, before going back over, and continuing to manage the boat. They wouldn’t last much longer out here. They couldn’t last much longer out here. Something was bound to happen. However, he decided to keep that information to himself. Fish knew, however, that there were probably going to be a million Technos, wherever they ended up. There were probably millions of Technos all over the world, and counting. And Fish knew that Amber, nor any of the others, were even thinking along the lines of that. He knew that they were going to be surprised, when they reached their destination, and found a bunch of Technos just waiting for them. He shook his head sadly and looked out the window, all the time wondering why someone would go and do something so horrible as this. He knew all about payback. Oh, he really did. Fish knew they were wondering why Mega would go and do something like this. Maybe he was as twisted as that Zoot guy was, maybe not. One things for sure, they both had the same thing in mind. Kill the unbelievers. -------- Chapter 15 Danni smiled down at Amiee. Her daughter was sleeping peacefully in their bed, without a care in the world. That was more than she could say for herself. Danni was so afraid, now that they had gotten rescued, that Bray would go running straight back to Amber, and he would leave her and Amiee all alone again. Danni wanted to scream in annoyance. Every time she felt as if she was getting close to Bray, or that things were finally beginning to change between them, something always had to happen, and ruin everything. She looks up a moment later, startled, when she heard someone approaching the room. Preparing to deal with Ebony, who always loved a fight, she got up, and picks up a bat. As the person walks up to the door, Danni tensed, and prepared to deal with Ebony. A moment later, she was surprised, to see Bray walking in. Bray froze, when he walked in the room, and came face-to-face with Danni, and a bat. “Whoa. Put the bat down Danni, and then we’ll talk.” He said, his voice full of concern. Danni shook her head, and with a small laugh, let the bat drop to the ground. “I wasn’t meaning to clobber you with the bat. I was thinking Ebony might come in here, and try to create all sorts of chaos. I don’t want Ebony going around doing that, especially around Amiee.” Danni said seriously. Bray nodded. “I know, and I’m sorry that I frightened you.” He said, before pulling Danni close, and brushing his lips sweetly against hers. Danni moaned softly. “Mmm. We should stop. Amiee might wake up, or someone might walk in.” She said, trying to make herself believe it. Bray kissed Danni again, before slowly pulling away. “You know that things are going to be difficult now, right?” He asked, watching Danni, to see how she would reply. Her only reply was a shrug. “Life wouldn’t be any fun, if things were always just fine and dandy.” She said, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. Bray laughed. “Well, what may I ask, do you have in mind?” He asked, unable to stop the laughter that bubbled up in his throat. Danni smiled, her eyes were alight in happiness. “I think, we should find a place to stay, set up everything that needs to be taken care of, and then we can be alone, just the three of us, just as it should be.” Danni commented softly. “Unless your precious Amber has something to say about that,” She muttered, annoyed. Bray turned to look at Danni. “Danni, what’s wrong? Are you really that jealous of Amber? He asks in wonder. Danni turns away from Bray, as her left eye twitches. “No, I’m not. I just can’t stand seeing her constantly.”

Thanks. Here's the next chapters... Chapter 16 Ram looked at Ruby for a few seconds, and then spoke. “Are you alright, Ruby?” He asked, wondering what was wrong. Ruby, who had not been paying attention, jerked her head up, and looked at Ram. “I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you. What did you say?” She asks, turning back to stare at Slade and Ebony, her heart wrenching in pain as she watched them. Ram turned and looked in the direction Ruby was looking in. He turned her back toward him. “Look Ruby, it’s better this way. You deserve much better than Slade. I hope you know that.” He said. “Besides, if he wants a wildcat like Ebony, then let him have her. They deserve each other, don’t ya think?” Ram asked. Ruby finally turned away from Ebony and Slade, and turns back to Ram. “But Ram, how can he just go around sleeping with people, like it’s no big thing?” She asks incredulously. Ram looks at Ruby, staying silent. Then sighing, he spoke. “Rubes, that’s just the way things are. I know it sounds cruel, but that’s just how guys like Slade operate.” He said, looking out across the window. “You know, just because some guys choose to be an idiot, doesn’t mean that all guys are,” Ram said, then he got up, and walked away. Ruby sighed, looked at Lottie, to see if she was still sleeping, before getting up, and going out onto the deck. As Ruby approached the deck, she saw a man and another woman standing there talking. She paused, several feet away, she saw the aggravated motions, the heated expression, and wondered what the couple was fighting about. As Ruby walks closer, she heard the man speak. “Danni listen, I love you, and Amiee. But I also want to be able to know my son. I’m sorry Danni. But if you’re going to go and give me an ultimatum, then I choose neither one of you.” He said, before getting up, and walking away. Ruby stayed silent, and she watched as the man walked away. Then, making sure that he was gone, she approached the other woman. “Are you okay?” She asked, looking at the other woman. The other woman nodded. “I’m Danni.” She said softly. Her voice had dropped several notches since she was sad. Ruby nodded. “I’m Ruby. And if it makes you feel any better, I’m in the same boat, in a way.” She said, shrugging. Danni looked at Ruby. “That was Bray, who just left. He’s Amber’s ex-boyfriend.” She said, shrugging. Ruby nodded. “I figured as much. I saw them arguing earlier.” She said, motioning to Bray. Ruby saw Danni pause, when Bray walks away from Amber and hugged Ebony. Danni looked at Ruby for a moment, before getting up, since she was upset. “Excuse me, I need to go somewhere else.” She said, and then turned to walk away. When Danni was half way to her room, she heard Bray stop talking, and she felt someone walk up behind her. As Danni was about to walk into her room, someone grabbed her arm. Danni felt herself getting pulled around, and she glared a second later, as she came face-to-face with Ebony. “Well, well, now. If it isn’t Danni, my absolute favorite person.” She said sarcastically. Danni tried to wrench her arm away, but was unsuccessful. “You are not going to take this thing over, not again.” She hissed angrily. “I refuse to have it.” Ebony said, and she dug her nails into Danni’s arm, and making the other girl cringe. A moment later, Danni ripped her arm away from Ebony. “Go to hell, Ebony. No one wants you here. Because all you do, is cause trouble. If you want someone to piss off, then go run to your lover boy, over there. I’m sure after a few rounds in the bed with him, you will throw him away, and move to the next available target, as you have always done.” Danni spat at Ebony, before slapping the other woman. A moment later, Ebony pushed Danni hard, and Danni fell off of the boat, hit her head on the side of the boat, and into the water below. It took a few seconds for everyone to process what has just happened, but when they did, all of them ran to the side of the boat, and tried to help Danni back up. All except for two people, Ebony and Amber. Ebony just walked off with a huge, smug smile on her face. Meanwhile, Amber went over and asked Fish to try and stop the boat. -------- Chapter 17 Bray, who had finished talking to Ebony, and then had gone check on Amiee, heard the commotion. He walks out the room, stepping right next to Trudy, who was holding Brady. “Trudy, can you watch Amiee for a few minutes? I need to find Danni.” Bray whispered. Trudy nodded. “Bray, Danni fell off the boat.” She said, and motioned to where Danni was trying unsuccessfully to get on the boat. Bray nods at Trudy, who went to go check on Amiee. Bray walked to the other side of the boat. He broke through the crowd, pulls off his shirt, and then jumped off the boat, going in the water after Danni. He came up a few seconds later, holding Danni around the waist. Swimming up to the boat a minute later, he saw Jay standing at the edge of the boat, leaning over the railing. Bray looks at the other man, understanding the silent agreement. He lifted Danni’s limp form, and handed her to Jay, who gently set her down on the boat’s floor. Then Jay held out his hand to Bray. Bray tensed at first, but then relaxed. He let Jay pull him back onto the boat. Bray nods his thanks, before turning to check on Danni, to see how she was. Bray realized that Danni wasn’t breathing, so he knelt down beside her, and began CPR. He looked up a moment later, realizing that Jay had started compressions, and was grateful. After completing 6 cycles of 5 to 2, Bray and Jay stop, to see if it was working. Danni started coughing up the water several moments later. Bray sighed in relief, when she slowly opened her eyes, and tried to sit up. “Whoa there, be careful.” Jay said, from where he was now standing next to Amber. Danni looked around in panic. “Amiee. Amiee. Bray, where’s Amiee?” Danni asked, beginning to worry. She tried to get up, a few moments later, and grimaced in obvious pain, as she put her hand to her head. When Danni pulled her hand away from her head, she saw that her hand was covered in blood. Danni began screaming. Bray helped her, as Trudy came out of the room. She was holding Amiee in her arms, and Brady was walking slowly behind them. Danni started to rush toward Trudy, but stopped as she became light-headed again. Everyone stared at Danni. She was calm a moment later, ignoring the pain in her head, as she reached Trudy, who handed Amiee to her. Danni looks at Trudy, and nods her thanks, before going to her room. Danni sighs softly, as she walks in her room, and closed the door softly. She locked the door, and put Amiee, who was sleeping, to bed, before sitting down and crying silently.

Chapter 18 Jay stayed silent, as he and everyone else watched Danni walk into her room, with Amiee in her arms. Then, he turned to see Bray whisper something to Ellie, who nodded, and went talk to Fish. Ellie reappeared a few minutes later, and nodded to Bray. The boat started moving once again. Amber stared at Bray, missing him, even though he was only a few feet away. She wondered what Jay would think, and what Bray would do, if she would hug Bray. Amber shook the thoughts away, not wanting to think about two of the most important men in her life (for now), fighting. Amber tuned back into what was going on and decided to try to relax. It wouldn’t help if all of them started to fight, and tempers began to flare. That was the last thing they needed. Bray sighed, when he felt Jay’s eyes on him. He knew the other man was wondering what he was going to do. They were all wondering. Bray looked at Amber, who nods. He smiled at her, glad that she understood. Bray got up, and then walked into the room that he and Danni were sharing. The sight that met his eyes was one of absolute beauty. Both mother and child were sleeping peacefully. It really was a sweet sight. Bray thought. He walked fully into the room, and closed the door. Bray grabbed a nearby chair, and a nearby book, and sat down by Danni and Amiee, and began to read silently. Every now and then he’d look up and check on Danni and Amiee. Making sure that they both were okay, he would go back to his book, and try to relax once again. Bray turned from the book, and set it down, when Amiee began to cry. He got up and swiftly walked over to her. Bray picks his daughter up, and he quickly turns back to look at Danni, to make sure that she was still sleeping. When he was satisfied that Danni was asleep, he walked quietly out of the room, Amiee in his arms. “Daddy, what’s wrong with Mommy?” Amiee asks, as before turning around in her father’s arms as she waited for him to answer her question. Bray smiled down at his daughter. “Your mom is fine, Amiee. She just had an argument with one of my friends. Mommy will be fine. There is nothing for you to worry about.” Bray said softly. Amiee looked at her father for a moment. It looked as if she were trying to decide whether or not to believe him. Bray smiled at her. “Don’t worry Amiee. I won’t let anything happen to Mommy.” Bray said, and he hugged his daughter close. Amiee smiled at her father. “I love you Daddy.” Amiee said, and she snuggled up to him. Bray smiled sadly. He hoped that Danni would be okay. Because it would be hard enough to not be able to see his son, since Amber was now with that Jay guy. The former Techno. Bray cringed involuntarily, as the thought stayed in his mind. He didn’t want anything to happen to Danni, just as he didn’t wish anything bad to happen to Jay or Amber. He took a deep breath, trying to calm down before anything stupid or drastic happened. Bray looked up quickly, as he heard footsteps approaching. Looking up, Bray saw Jay. “Is Danni going to be okay?” The other man asked, concerned. Bray was about to lie and say that Danni was fine, but after looking at the other man’s expression, he could tell that Jay was seriously worried about Danni, and he wondered why. Jay looked at Bray, as he felt the other man silently questioning why he should care about Danni so much. You see, the fact of the matter is, that Danni was his and Ved’s half-sister. Danni’s dad had married their mother. “Bray listen to me,” Jay began, before getting interrupted. Bray held up a hand for silence, and Jay complied. “Whatever happened between you and Danni is in the past. Therefore we no longer need to worry about it.” He said. Jay looked away for a moment, as the sides of his mouth began to twitch, wanting to form a smile. “Listen Bray, there’s something you should know,” Jay said, and he waited to see if Bray was going to interrupt again. When the other man stayed silent, Jay nods, before speaking again. “Bray I wanted to tell you, in case Danni never told you. She’s my half-sister, or step-sister, if you will. Danni’s father married my mother a month before the virus was released on the population.” Jay said, and he waited to see how Bray would respond to the news. Bray paused, when Jay shared his information. A moment later however, he just shrugs. “That’s life.” He said, before walking away from Jay since Amiee has begun to cry once again. “Shh, Amiee. Everything is okay.” Bray said, and then he began to rock his daughter, in hopes that she would fall asleep once more. Amiee smiled. Jay however, sighed, and he walked around the boat, just to check on everyone, and to make sure nothing was wrong, and that everyone was okay. As he came upon May and Salene, Jay wondered what was going to happen between the two friends, and he wondered if they were going to end up getting together. If they did, Jay knew that Lex, and some of the others would cause hell, just so that things would be normal, once again. He shook his head, and continued to survey the boat, wondering where Jack and Ellie were, and Trudy too, hoping Ebony hadn’t gone and started some more trouble with either one of them. He sighed a moment later. Jay ran his hands over his face, and he wondered how they’d make things work, with so many people.

Chapter 19 Salene walked into her room. She smiled, as the other woman followed, holding her hand. As they both walked into Salene’s room, she shut the door, and turned off all of the lights. Salene turned to the other woman. “Are you okay? Or do you need a minute to get used to things?” She asked. The other woman shook her head no. “I’m fine Salene. I just, I’m still trying to get used to the fact that you and I can and will finally be together after all of this time. I’m just, I’m so glad that I’ve got you.” She said softly. Salene smiled. “You don’t have to worry, May. I’m not going anywhere. You and I are as one person. I am yours always, that’s all there is to it.” Salene smiled at May again. “This time it’s for keeps.” She said, pulling a necklace off of her neck, and handing it to May. “This belonged to my brother, Marco. He would’ve wanted me to share it with someone I love.” Salene said, and then she turned away a few moments, as a tear fell from her eye, as she missed her brother. “I miss him, and I wish that he was here right now.” Salene said. May looked at Salene, staying silent but watching her friend’s expression as she put the necklace on. “Salene, you shouldn’t be sad. I know that Marco wouldn’t want you to cry. He wouldn’t want you to miss out on your life, because of the fact that he can’t be here to live it with you. Besides, how do you even know that he is dead? Did you see him die?” When Salene shook her head no, May nodded. “Then what you need to do is stay positive. You need to think that Marco’s alive, and that you’ll see him again someday. I mean, what is there to live for, if not hope?” May asked, as she scooted closer to Salene, and wiped the tears off the other woman’s face. “We all need to believe in something, so I think the best thing would be, to believe that everyone we miss, with the exception for those who are dead, that they are alive.” Salene looked up, and at May. “I know May, but you don’t understand. I have Ryan back, but now I just realized that I am right back where I started, on my search for my brother. I mean, I can’t give up, and I won’t, because Marco is my brother, and I love him. Also, because I know that he would, and is probably doing the same, by looking for me.” Salene said softly. May nodded, and then she hugged her friend. “I’m here for you, Sal, always. I hope you know that.” May said. Salene nodded, and she slowly turned away from May. “I need to be alone for a little while.” She said, and then got up, heading right back out of the room. May sighed, as she watched Salene walk out of the door. She wondered what was going on inside of Salene’s head. May watched as the door closed, and she lied back down on the bed, wishing for the thousandth time, that things weren’t so screwed up. She rolled over in the bed, and fell asleep again. Salene sighed softly, as she walked around the boat. A moment later, she heard someone approach her. Salene turned around, and was surprised, when she came face-to-face, with Ryan. “Ryan?” She asked, shock written all over her face. Ryan looked at his wife, and smiled. “I really missed you. You are the one thing that got me through all those bad times in the camps. The thought of you, was the only thing that kept me alive and going for as long as I was. I mean, just the thought of being able to see you, and all of the others again. I wanted to make sure that nothing would stand in my way of that goal.” Ryan said honestly. Salene smiled, and then she hugs Ryan. “We need to talk.” She said. Ryan looked at his wife. “What’s wrong?” He asked. Salene looked away from Ryan for a few moments. “I’m with May now. I hope you understand.” She said. Ryan nods, before getting up and walking away.

Chapter 20 Author’s Note: In this chapter, it switches around to different point of views. Ryan walked out of the room, and wandered around the boat. He looks up a few moments later, and saw that they were approaching another island. Ryan turned and went to find Amber. He knocked on the door to her room, and was more than a little surprised, to walk in, and find her standing between Bray, and her new boyfriend, one of the Techno’s who had started this mess in the first place. “Amber, I need to see you outside for a moment. I think that we may have a problem.” Ryan said, and then he walked out of the room, and waited for Amber to join him. A few moments later, Amber walked up to him. “Ryan, are you okay? What’s wrong?” She asked, concerned. Ryan looked at Amber, and then pointed over her shoulder. “Amber, we are approaching another island. What are we going to do?” Amber turned her attention, and followed to where Ryan was pointing. They were approaching land, again. Amber looked back at Ryan. “Go and gather the others. I will get Jay and Bray, and I will go and speak with Fish.” She said, and then left, before Ryan could even reply. Ryan sighed, and he went to gather the others. A little while later, he had told everyone about the meeting, except for Salene and May. Ryan took a deep breath, and then he slowly opened the door, and walked inside. “Listen guys, before you get angry at me for interrupting, listen. Amber has called an emergency meeting. We all need to go. It’s concerning that fact that we are close to another Island.” Ryan said. He watched as Salene and May shared a look, before both women got up, and headed out the room. Ryan sighed, and followed behind both of them, walking quietly, and staying silent. He wasn’t sure he would be able to handle finding out that his wife was now a lesbian. Ryan just shook his head, and went meet up with the others. As he approached the group, Ryan heard Amber speaking, and every now and then, Bray, Danni, and Amber’s new Techno boyfriend, would all nod in agreement, or they would voice their opinions, and agree or disagree with what Amber was currently saying. As Ryan finally reached the group, he saw Amber turn in his direction, and then motion for him to come forward. Ryan did so, without question. “Ryan, was there anyone on the island, when you first saw it?” Amber asked, and then she waited patiently for Ryan to speak up. “Yes, I did Amber. I saw someone.” He said softly, and wondered if he should tell that the person looked familiar, or if he thought it was just a hallucination. Ryan looked at Amber. “I thought that I had seen Alice, and KC.” He said softly. Ryan paused, when he heard someone gasp in shock. Turning around, he saw that it was Ellie, who had gasped, and realized that he shouldn’t have been surprised, since the young girl was still worried about her older sister, and was wanting desperately wanting to find her. “Listen guys, I’m not positive that it was Alice and KC. I just saw two people, and the way they looked reminded me of Alice and KC.” Ryan said softly. He looked at Amber, who, after speaking to Fish, decided that they would get off at the island, and they would check it out, before continuing on their journey. Ryan just stared at Amber. However, he stayed silent, just hoping that he was right about their friends that were still missing. When Amber spoke a moment later, it was to tell everyone that only certain groups of people were going to get off the boat, and go check this island out. After picking out 2 groups, Amber motioned for the rest of them to stay on the boat, and if anything happened, to leave automatically. The 2 groups were assigned like this: Group 1 held Jack, Ellie, Jay, May, and Amber. Group 2 held Ram, Slade, Lex, Bray, and Ebony. The rest of the Mall rats were to stay on the boat, and make sure nothing happened. They were also to be ready incase something did happen. As both of the group started off, Ryan watched from where he was standing on the boat, and he silently wondered what they would find, and what they were going to have to deal with now. Amber looked at her group, as they walked around the island, wondering if they were going to need some backup, or if they even needed to be on this island at all. She took a look at Ellie, and saw the determined look on the younger girl’s face, and decided that this would be worth it, especially if they found Alice and KC. Amber sighed softly, so no one would hear her, as they continued on what seemed to be a pointless task, when something, or rather someone, caught her eye. “Hello? Excuse me. I’m looking for the person in charge. Can you take us to your leader?” She asked. When the person got closer, Amber paused, and she stared at the person. She was even more shocked, when two more people walked up. “Marco?” She asked, staring at Salene’s brother. The guy nods, and motioned to the two people who were with him. “This is KC and Alice. They are with my Tribe.” He said softly, before looking at Amber. Amber nodded. “Marco, Alice and KC, used to be a part my Tribe, the Mall rats.” She said. Marco looked at Amber again. “Salene?” He asked softly. Amber nodded. Then she turned to face the people in her group. “Everyone, this is Marco, he is Salene’s brother.” She said seriously. Everyone looked from Amber, to Marco, and back again, confused. Marco turned Amber to face him. “Is she okay?” He asked. Amber nodded. “She is fine. Salene has just been going through some recent changes, that’s all.” She said, and wondered how Marco was going to take to the fact that his sister was now a lesbian, and she fell silent once more.

Chapter 21 Salene wrapped her arms tightly around herself, trying to stay warm. A light breeze had come, and was now blowing right over her. She looked up, and saw Amber and her group. Her friend was standing there talking to another person, someone who was not in the Mall rats. Salene noticed the expression on Amber’s face, and she wondered what happened, what was happening, or what was wrong. Salene got up a moment later, and she walked off of the boat. She went to meet up with Amber and her group. The sight that met her eyes, was one that brought tears to Salene’s face. She looked at the guy, who stood there talking to Amber, and tried to hold back her tears. “Marco?” Salene asked, afraid to be right, yet terrified to be wrong. When the guy completely turned to face her, Salene smiled through her tears. She ran to him, and hugged him. Salene held her brother tightly as she hugged him. “I missed you… everyday...” She said softly. Marco nodded. “I missed you too, sister. I dreamed of finding you, every single day. And then, I met KC and Alice, they spoke of you and your Tribe, and my hope was restored once again.” Marco said, and then he fell silent. Salene nodded, as her brother spoke. She wasn’t really listening to what he was saying. All Salene cared about, was having her brother back. That was all that mattered to her. A moment later, she decided to introduce her brother to everyone. “Guys, this is Marco, my brother.” Salene said softly. Everyone nodded, and she introduced everyone else. “Marco, this is Amber, Jack, Ellie, Jay, and May. They are here to help look for, and free the prisoners.” Salene said, watching Marco. Marco nodded at his sister’s friends. Then he turned to his sister. “Salene, there is something I must speak to you about, alone.” He said softly. Marco looked at his sister’s friends. “Please excuse us for a few minutes.” He said, and then he and Salene walked a few feet away, and began to speak in soft voices. “Salene, I found and saved some of our things from before the virus. I thought that you might want this…” Marco said, and he handed his sister a necklace. When Salene received the necklace, she was shocked. It was something their mother and father had given her for her birthday, the year before the virus came about. This necklace was black and blue, with purple and green beads, and with the words “Here’s a Beautiful Woman, Beautiful Daughter, Beautiful Salene,” written on it. Salene began to cry softly. As everyone stood there, they wondered what was going on. The Mall rats had seen Marco hand his sister something, but they weren’t sure of what it was. However, when Salene began full out crying, they figured that something was wrong, and Amber and Jay walked over to the two siblings wanting to fix whatever was wrong. When Amber and Jay reached the two siblings, they saw Salene holding a necklace, and the couple wondered what it meant. Amber spoke to Salene. “Salene, are you okay?” She asked her friend, concerned. Salene turned to Amber and Jay, and nodded, tears still streaming down her face. “Yes. I’m finally at peace with my past.” She said softly, remembering how much she had loved her family. “Finally at peace again.” Salene murmured, continuing to stare at the necklace. Marco hugged his sister. “I’m glad to find you Sal.” Salene nodded, and she motioned for the others to go back to the boat. After taking to her brother for a moment, she persuaded him to come onto the boat, where the rest of her friends, and Tribe was, and to come meet all of them. As they walked onto the boat several minutes later, Salene smiled. “I win again.” She said with a smile. Marco smiled. “You know that I never could say no to you, and that’s how it has always been.” He said, love and respect for his sister in his voice. Salene smiled again, as the got onto the boat. “For those of you that don’t know, this is my brother, Marco.” Salene said to her Tribe happily. Her friends all mumbled a small hello, before turning as one, to look at Salene, wanting to see how she was taking things. Sal smiled at her friends. She motioned May to come forward. May did so reluctantly. Salene turned to her brother. “Marco, this is May, one of my best friends. Do you remember her?” She asked, looking at Marco. Her brother took one look at May, and then he nodded. “How could I forget? You two were the best of friends when we were in school. She was always over at our house.” Marco said, laughing. May nodded, and then she began to laugh also. “How are you, Marco? I missed you. I loved how you always teased us, and bothered us when we had parties over sleepover’s. I never got the chance to tell you, but I liked being around you. You are like the brother I never had.” She said. Marco nodded. “I know how you feel. It’s tough being an only child, and it sucks not having anyone.” May nodded. “I’m just glad to see that you are safe, and that you and Salene are together once again.”

Chapter 22 Danni woke up, and she immediately reached for Amiee. When she became aware that her daughter was not in the room, Danni began to get worried. She quickly changed her clothes, before practically running out of the room that she and Bray shared, and went to look for her daughter. Danni sighed in relief, when she saw Bray holding Amiee, and she heard him speaking softly to their daughter. It was a scene that she had imagined in her head, a thousand times, and was glad that she got to see it. Danni crept up slowly behind Bray and Amiee, and she rested her head and her arms on Bray’s back. “How are things going with Amiee?” She asked, truly curious. Bray turned to Danni, when he felt her arms on him, and when he heard her voice. “Little miss Amiee and I, are perfectly content.” Bray said, gazing at his daughter adoringly. Danni smiled as she watched the way they interacted with one another. “I’m glad to finally be able to see this. You see, the whole time while I was in the prison camps, I had wanted to find you, to be able to share our daughter, and my love with you.” She said, and blushed brightly. Bray smiled at her. “Danni, you have nothing to worry about. Now that you and I are back together, this time we will stay together. If you and Amiee go somewhere, I’ll go with you. I love you and Amiee, and I want to be there for you two. But I also want to be here for my son, Danni. I hope you understand." Bray said, and he looked at Amiee, as he waited for her to reply. “I understand, Bray. But that has to be the only thing you go to her for. I cannot and will not, be second place to Amber.” Bray nodded that he understood. “Yes Danni, I understand completely. I understood the first time you told me, and I still understand now.” Bray sighed, and then he handed Amiee to Danni. “Here, I need to be alone for a little bit. I need some time to process, and think about some things.” Bray said, and then he walked off, leaving Danni standing there puzzled. As she was about to bring Amiee, back to their room, Jay approached her. “Danni, can I talk you?” He asked, looking at his step-sister. Danni nodded, when Jay asked to speak to her. “Sure Jay, have a seat.” She said, motioning for him to sit down. While Jay did so, he began to speak. “So... I know it has been a long time since the two of us have been around each other, and it’s been a lot longer, since we have had a civilized conversation.” Danni nodded. “You’re right, and I’m sorry, by the way. When I left you and Ved, it was not on the best of terms. I’m sorry about that. I just, couldn’t stand things as they were. A little while after I had left you, I ended up with the Mall rats. After escaping the meeting of the Tribal Leaders, where most of the others were killed, I was take prisoner by the Chosen, and then the Technos, and was put in the Prison Camps.” Danni paused for a moment. Then she looked Jay straight in the eyes. “I missed you… a lot. Not one day went by without me thinking of you and Ved, and missing you two with all of my heart.” She said, and several tears slipped down her cheek. Jay wiped her tears away. “You don’t need to cry, Danni. Ved and I are here, and we are not going anywhere.” He said softly.
