why choose war
this is not what we asked for
a leader consumed with the greed of power
the need to divide and conquer then devour
to start a war that wasn’t needed
despite what many pleaded
destroy innocent things
death and hatered is what war brings
taking lifes away
forcing innocents to pay
for justice they say
then why do our leaders stay
and not go fight
for what they cliam is so right
I wonder why they wont go
well I think I know
they use this for their gain
in their seats of power and wealth they remain
they choose war to benfit them
but their futures are condemed
